Default Favorite TGIF show from the 90s?

Which show was your favorite TGIF (Friday nights on ABC) from each season? Here's a reminder of what they were:

1988-89: Perfect Strangers, Full House, Mr. Belvedere, Just the Ten of Us
1989-90: Full House, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, Just the Ten of Us
1990-91: Full House, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers, Going Places
1991-92: Family Matters, Step By Step, Perfect Strangers, Baby Talk
1992-93: Family Matters, Step By Step, Dinosaurs, Camp Wilder
1993-96: Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Step By Step, Hangin' with Mr. Cooper (Yes, this was the same lineup three years in a row)
1996-97: Family Matters, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Clueless, Boy Meets World
1997-98: Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Boy Meets World, You Wish, Teen Angel
1998-99: Two of a Kind, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Brother's Keeper
1999-00: The Hughleys, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Odd Man Out

I liked nearly all of them myself. What were your favorites?

Mr. Belvedere was the best. Perfect Strangers and Just the Ten Of Us were OK. Family Matters was good before it became the Urkel Show.

1993-1996 was the best for TGIF - I never missed a Friday night in those years on ABC. My favorite would probably be Family Matters, with Boy Meets World a very close second, then Sabrina and Step by Step tied for third.

My fave lineup was Full House, Family Matters, Perfect Strangers and Just the Ten of Us. I also liked the early years of Step By Step and Mr. Cooper, and Mr. Belvedere just rocked!!!

Didn't the TGIF theme evnings start in 1991? I don't recall it because called TGIF in the 80's. Also I think TGIF ended in 1998

I think the Friday night sitcoms were dubbed TGIF in the 1989-90 season. I remember that's when they had the animated opening with the mouse and alarm clock aka "time for fun".

^ Same here. I watched TGIF faithfully from 4th grade until about 10th grade. By then, I was in high school and shows like Family Matters and Step by Step were really stale. They just weren't funny anymore. That said, I'd love to see the early episodes of all these shows again, because they really were a lot of fun!!!!!

Monika, if I had a time machine, I'd invite you to time travel back to anywhere from 1989 to 1996 with me and have a Friday night pajama party watching all those great TGIF shows!

I actually thought TGIF ended when Family Matters moved to CBS in the 1997 season

I wish I could go back to September 27, 1991 so I could record the 8pm to 9pm hour block when Urkel appeared on the 2nd ep of Step by Step-lol
