I'm just glad I was able to tape all the Patty Duke episodes since they aired them uncut. Changes are coming to the schedule, the Saturday Night Pajama Party lineup on Me-TOO which Patty Duke was a part of is being scrapped. At this point, I'm not too confident that Me-TV will continue airing Patty Duke on a regular basis. Eventually they will stop airing the show altogether. There are a couple episodes I want to upgrade, but the only one I absolutely really need is Patty And The Newspaper Game. Me-TV had this episode scheduled a few months back, but it got pre-empted and wasn't rescheduled. So for this episode I'm using my back up copy from Nick At Nite. Hopefully Me-TV will still air the episode, but rather than wait I'm going to make a few contacts and see if I can obtain an uncut copy of the episode from another collector.

Good luck with that, Lee!

is it just me or is already Me-TV and Me Too already drifting away from what it started out to be?

Thanx Jude, the few Patty Duke episodes I'd like to upgrade are not absolutely must haves, the ones I have now will suffice in the event the episodes aren't aired again. The one episode I really need is The Newspaper Game, I imagine I'll eventually get an uncut copy of it and then I'll be a happy camper.

Me-TV is like any other station, it's all about the ratings. They will air shows that get them the most viewers. If that means doing away with some older shows and airing more recent shows from the 80's & 90's, that's the direction they'll go. Many older shows from the 50's & 60's have a smaller fan base and their audience is limited. Sad, but true.

Corrections and/or additions:

1). In the Heat of the night appears to be staying in its 12 Noon timeslot for now.
2). The Me-Too Sked also a has a few slight changes as well. Ex's: "Webster" moves to 10:30AM, replacing "What's Happening!!," Diff'rent Strokes goes into the 10AM slot, replacing "Gimme a Break!," "The Facts of LIfe" goes into the 9:30AM slot, replacing "Webster," "Little House on the Prairie" airs at 4-5PM, "Mary Tyler Moore" and "The Bob Newhart Show" air at 5 and 5:30PM each, "I Love Lucy" and "Dick Van Dyke" both go in at ^ and 6:30PM replacing "Star Trek"
3). The regular Me-TV weekday sked goes even deeper into the late '90s and 2000s with the addition of "That '70s Show," which replaces one airing of "Married with Children" at 5:30PM (starts September 8th)"
4). "Laverne and Shirley" gets a Sunday afternoon airing at 5:30PM

There are still more chages to come by this weekend and/or next Monday, so keep your eyes peeled.

And I think Patty Duke is still on the skeds, I think.

It looks like the Patty Duke airings are being reduced to once a week, 3:30 AM on Mondays, switched back to Me-TV from Me-TOO.

Yep, these folks air a wide variety of old shows, that's for sure. Some shows are uncut while others are not. I don't know what determines which shows air uncut, I'm just glad Patty Duke is one of the uncut ones. This great show is still unreleased on DVD, and since the airings are uncut I taped all the episodes.

Now if Me-TV wanted to be really unique, they should air some of these short lived old shows that haven't been seen in years. One show for example is I'm Dickens, He's Fenster. Or how about airing Car 54 or Dobie Gillis? Those are not quite as obscure but still not seen since the Nick At Nite days. I Married Joan with Jim Backus is another good one. Perhaps Me-TV could set up a block of programming with some of these short lived shows and others that haven't been seen in a long time.

Any idea if/when the Milwaukee version of ME-TV will change line ups? I know that they are going to be moving their transmitter closer to the city around October 1st and go full power. They are also getting their own digital OTA station at the same time (instead of airing as a digital subchannel of the CBS parent station), so I'm hoping that ME-TOO will be coming soon. Weigel paid $7 million this spring for the station that ME-TV Milwaukee airs on, so they must have bigger plans for it.
