My daughter was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. I know it sounds like a brand of motorcycle, but apparently it is a rare disease that originated in Japan. How she got it, who the heck knows, but she has been sidelined all week and on heavy antibiotics. With that said, all plans for this weekend have been cancelled. At least we have a diagnosis of what is ailing her.

I'm glad they figured out what it was. Still, that has to be hard. I'm sorry

Well this is a busy weekend. Tomorrow I work but then later that night one of my dad's friends (his band) will be playing at a bowling alley about 20 minutes from where we live. So I am going to that. Saturday my boyfriend and I and a couple friends of mine are going to our State fair and we get to see 2 free concerts by Lorrie Morgan and Tracy Byrd. Sunday my Grandma is invting my family over for lunch after church and after that I probably will ride my bike and do some scrapbooking. So that pretty much sums up my weekened, I can't forget I will be watching the olympics whenever I get a chance and I will watch the closing ceremonies

Tomorrow our church band is having an outdoor concert as an outreach to college kids, so I will be helping out there. Sunday is church - it's the church's 115th anniversary, so there will be a picnic/potluck following the service. Then, my sister, brother-in-law and nephew will be coming over for an end of summer cookout. Plenty of photo opportunities for the mad scrapbooker!!!!

Brian, your whole family will be in my thoughts and prayers. The good thing is you have a diagnosis and can navigate a plan to go from here.
