...Well not quite.

Jimmy Page will team up with British singer Leona Lewis to perform Led Zeppelin's rock classic Whole Lotta Love at the closing ceremony of the Beijing Olympics.

The unique collaboration was initially a secret - but British session bassist Guy Pratt revealed details on his blog.

He wrote, "You may also be interested to know that when Jimmy Page and Leona Lewis perform Whole Lotta Love at the end of the Olympics, that's me playing bass on it."

The odd couple will perform when the Games end on Sunday.

It's really not a Led Zep reunion if one guy shows up.

Rrcently Paul McCartney played at the Billy Joel Shea Stadium show - does that make it a Beatles reunion?

Wow, that's cool. I never did see the opening ceremonies (I was in Vegas!), but hopefully they are on Youtube by now. I haven't really been following any of the events, but then again, I'm not a big sports person. After watching about three swimming events and gymnastics events, it tends to get a little bit repetitive.

I may tune in to see the closing ceremonies, however.
