Thanks for letting us know - I was wondering when they were going to have it. They usually have it in May or June. I have quite a few questions I'd like to ask them.

I don't even know if I'll attend this chat this year. It's always the same standard repsones any-"it's on our radar", "we'll look into it" ; "we'll consider it". And of most of those they're "considering" or on their "radar" none have been released in the last year.

What confuses me most about them is how they released Season 1 of "Alice" on iTunes but have yet to release it on dvd. At this rate, the series will never see the light of day complete on dvd.

And then there's "Mama's Family"...'nuff said. I don't think I have purchased a Warner title since Season 1 of "Mama's Family" was released.

I'm not even sure what titles Warner own or can get their hands on. Isn't Eight Is Enough in their archives? I think for the last chat it was 'under their radar'. Yes well maybe they should put their radar away and get into the dvd pressing factory!

Everything seems to be under their radar. At the last chat, they said that Fresh Prince (season 5-6), Family Matters, Step by Step, and The Drew Carey Show season 2 along with more were all under the radar, but none have been released so far. I think at this chat, we really need to show Warner how let down we really are that they don't seem to care about these shows.

I had asked them about Eight Is Enough at the last chat and their response was "We'll consider it". They've been considering long enough. That's why I think I probably won't even go to the chat. It's a waste of time. They keep saying the same thing over and over and never release the shows asked about.

If you ask me WB is the worst studio out there right now for TV DVD. Worse even than Sony. At least with Sony they released some older shows, albeit with years wait in between. At least they give shows a second chance (ie. Barney Miller, The Patridge Family). Where is season 2 of Growing Pains? Where is season one of Alice? I could go on and on. And worst of all WB refuses to license anything out. Their older shows don't stand a chance on DVD.

Agreed that these chats are beyond worthless. They won't give a firm answer to anything and indeed, will never come through on things they are allegedly "considering".

With Fox showing signs of jumpstarting MTM next year, that makes Warner #1 for worst studio with TV on DVD this past year.

I still think Sony is #1 - they have way more abandoned shows on their list, and plenty of titles that they just don't care to release. While Warner is the same way, they have less properties and still manage to release or already have released a lot of their shows.

Sony though has released some thing this past year, and this has included a long-overdue second season of "Barney Miller", and S3 of "The Partridge Family" is coming out after a long hiatus. Plus, Sony I have to admit is more willing to release a short-lived series than any other studio I know of with the upcoming release of "Quark" because no way would that have been released by any of the other studios.

Just a reminder - the chat is tonight, starting at 8pm ET for those interested! I am interested in asking a question, mainly about their abandoned shows, so hopefully I can ask it then get out of there ASAP!-LOL

The link to "Go To Chat" keeps freezing my laptop.

Sad to hear there are no plans for Scarecrow & Mrs King.

Did anyone ask about Eight is Enough?

Is Small Wonder under their label?

Several people asked about Eight Is Enough. Apparently they have no plans due to "fixed costs". They went from last year saying they would consider it to this. The chat is a waste of time. WB shows don't stand much of a chance of getting onto DVD. I think they're the worst studio now when it coems to TV DVD (yes even worse then Sony).

Pretty sure Small Wonder belongs to Fox.

I disagree - I thought this was one of their most informative chats to date. I and a lot of other fans got great news. They plan on releasing more of Night Court, Whose Line is it Anyway?, Everwood, and Knot's Landing in 2009, along with a release for Moonlight, and possibly for New Adventures of Old Christine and Fresh Prince, which they've already addressed with the music rights.

But, there was also the usual expected news - no plans for more Murphy Brown, Growing Pains, What I Like About You, and other shows I can't think of at the moment. Also, no plans for Step by Step, and was Family Matters mentioned at all last night?

Overall, a great chat.
