For the last several days whenever I go to the Photo Gallery this message pops up. "A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run your computer may become unresponsive. Do you want to abort the script? Yes or No" So I always click yes. I've also noticed my computer going slower on this site too. Any ideas about it? It only shows that pop up message on the photo gallery section of the site.

I don't know Ann. I keep getting a message about ActiveX when I'm on this site only. I don't even know what ActiveX is.

Thanks for letting me know you're getting stuff like this too. It sure has been a pain in the behind. I haven't gotten the active x one yet. Wonder what's going on with it?

If the site's trying to install ActiveX controls onto your computer, that could be a sign of another problem ad. As far as I know no site functions require ActiveX. I'll make sure TJ looks into it ASAP.
If a dialog about installing anything ActiveX related appears while at SO, click No, or the X button, or whatever applicable to get out of the dialog. |

I hate to say anything for fear of jinxing myself but as of right now, I haven't had many problems. Very wierd that those things are happening to others, though. Hope they get them fixed soon!

I just got that same pop up box about 5 minutes ago at the photo gallery. The page freezes up and it won't let you click on the red X at the top right side, you have to click either yes or no to unfreeze the page. Any idea whats going on with it? |

For me it usually pops up when I go into the members gallery to look at their pictures, I'd say within the first 5 or 10 minutes. |

Same here! Sometimes the pages are really slow to load too. I thought maybe I'd gotten some kind of virus so I ran a deep system scan with my antivirus protection but nothing showed up. Maybe someone here can figure it out. |
