I was watching on TruTV the program "Suburban Secrets".
I like watching true crime shows and police reality but not this tacky show. They have three old women knitting and making stupid insensitive remarks about the cases being profiled. I often wonder how the relatives of people who have been murdered feel about the shows. My guess is that in their shoes, for the most part I would want the murder profiled out of memory of the deceased or for some sense of resititution. But not this tacky program. Someone should deliver a kick to the asses of the insensitive thoughtless producers of this show. My guess is that this is some clown's brainstorm on how to attract women to the genre. I think this belittling and trivilazing of crime victims should be offensive to anyone. Tackiness has crossed the line. |

I've never really understood this show and it doesn't catch my attention at all so I've never watched an entire program. Is it based on a true story? It seems pretty odd, like a tv drama instead of true crime. I can't imagine it will be around for long. I think CourtTV should stick to their successful shows like Forensic Files and instead of all these new boring shows they have on there now. Most of them are just varying versions of COPS imo.

Many of these new crime shows leave me wondering about their respect for the victims. They show photos of the deceased in their undershorts, etc... Photos that were originally meant only for the police, investigators and the jury. I only hope I'm never murdered (of course ) and photos put on television of me laying splayed out in my skivvies. I find very disrespectful to the poor victims. I think it victimizes them again showing photos that these people never would have consented to in life, living or dead.

They yanked this loser of a show off the air, now, haven't they?

They did a case from my neighboring town, the Stephen Beckham murder case. Yeah, it was pretty cheesy, but they got the facts right and my car was in it for about half a second.
