Question Summer or Winter Olympics - which do you prefer?

I say Winter Olympics all the way. I enjoy the figure skating, skiing and the luge. My sister loves curling. I just don't seem to get into the Summer Olympics.

I remember in my final semester of college in early 2002 watching Sarah Hughes' incredible performance that got her the gold medal. I don't think I've ever seen a finer ice skating performance.

Summer. I'm not too into winter sports. One can only watch so much skiing and the like before it all starts to look alike.

I'd say summer.

I can really only watch the figure skating in the winter olympics...well, I can watch the hockey too, I guess.

Summer games, I like basketball (which really should be a winter sport), gymnastics, swimming & diving, volleyball, boxing, track & field... most of the major summer stuff, I've played myself... but I've never gone skiing or ice skating, even though i grew up in New Jersey (not that NJ has a lot of skiing, I just mean that i grew up in a place that actually has winters... My senior class trip in high school was to a ski resort in Vermont, so I didn't even bother going. I live in Florida now, not much in the way of winter sports down here)...

I think I just relate to the summer olympic sports a lot better than the winter games.

But both the summer and winter Olympic games have plenty of so-called "sports" that I can do without.

I would say Summer Olympics. Because I enjoy watching the swimming, beach volleyball, and the track and field. But I enjoy watching the Winter Olympics too.

I tend to watch the Winter Olympics more, but I guess I like them both equally. I LOVE couples figure skating (Scott Moir and Tessa Virtue), so I will always watch them whenever they are competing), but that's about the only sport I'll watch. As for summer Olympics, I've been watching occasionally; I've seen several swimming events, a basketball game between China and the US, and a couple of rowing events, but so far that's been it. I tend to be more busy in the summer and don't get to watch as much.

I like both, but I watch much more of the winter olympics. It's nice to have a fire going and sit down and watch snowboarding, skiing, the luge, and iceskating.

As far as summer olympics go, I mainly tune in for gymnastics, swimming, and diving.
