If she has a Paypal debit card with a Visa or Mastercard logo then she should have no problem using it.

I'm not sure how that works, because when I signed up, I did use a credit card. I'd suggest you call the toll-free customer service number on the netflix website. Good luck.

(BTW, I've had Netflix for two months and we love it!) We got the $8.99 a month plan, which is one movie at a time, unlimited for any given month. We did upgrade, because with the lower rate of $4.99 per month, you get one at a time, but you're limited to only two movies a month.)

I don't think they do take PayPal.

I also love Netflix! I'm on the 3 disc at a time plan, and it's great!! I'm currently getting reaquanted with the show "DALLAS" which I haven't seen in YEARS. I'm watching it from the very beggining, and most of those early episodes, I don't remember (it's funny seeing Larry Hagman looking like he just stepped out of "I DREAM OF JEANNIE" and acting completely different. I keep expecting him to shout "JEANNIE")

If she has bank/checking account, they accept that (if she uses a bank debit card). And FWIW, did she report to the credit card company that she lost her credit card? so yes, if the Paypal card has a Mastercard/Visa logo, it will work.

Yes, Netflix is great....have rarely gone to the video store since being a member!

Netflix is excellent.

We're also on the 3-at-a-time plan...

We've gone through a few TV series ("The Dick Van Dyke Show", "Family Affair", "The Doris Day Show" plus some others), and we've never seen them not have a movie we wanted to get.

Netflix is currently having technical glitches--delaying the mailing of movies and also reporting movies received back. Members will be receiving credits on their monthly bill.

This is what I love about them; they are always there for their customers. Several months ago, I had returned a DVD to them and it seemed like it was taking a long time to get another one. I notified them about it, and they immediately sent another one, even though they hadn't received the one I sent back. I guess it was lost in the mail. It was really nice of them, because most places, like Blockbuster won't even let you check out anything unless they have gotten the previous movie back.

I haven't set foot in a Blockbuster in years. I think I still have a membership, but Netflix is absolutely the best! I considered trying the Blockbuster Online (Netflix-copy-ers!), but they make you sign up for the three at a time. Right now we have the two-at-a-time because that's about all we can handle!

As for Paypal, I guess as long as it has a Visa or Mastercard logo, it should be fine.

Yea, a copy of Transformers got lost in the mail--and it was ok. Now with Blockhead Online--a TV disc got lost--I WAS CHARGED $24.95!!! Never again with those jerks. And I used to work for Blockhead as well--so glad to be gone from that place.

How much does Netflix charge per month for the 3-at-a-time plan?

I was thinking of looking into Blockbuster Online too so I could use both services; but now after reading these posts, I'm definetaly not!!!

As for Netflix; I got a DVD from them once, and it was cracked. I simply went on their website, reported it, sent it back, and they sent me out another one at no charge.

thanks for the replies.
as for her reporting her credit card, she said she lost it in house. plus, the credit card company hasn't call saying it was maxed out or anything. so, that's good.
i, too, would like to know the cost of the 3 at a time plan.

Movie

I found this on the Netflix site. It includes pricing for everything. I don't know if even current members are aware of this but most (if not all) memberships even come with instant viewing, and you can watch movies on your computer without having to have them sent to you. And the best part is that they don't affect what's in your queue. You are allowed a certain number of instant viewing hours each month (based on whatever plan you have). How cool is THAT?!

8 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $47.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 8 movies out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $47.99.

7 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $41.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 7 movies out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $41.99.

6 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $35.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 6 movies out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $35.99.

5 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $29.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 5 movies out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $29.99.

4 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $23.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 4 movies out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $23.99.

3 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $16.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 3 movies out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $16.99.
You are currently on this plan:
2 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $13.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 2 movies out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $13.99.

1 at-a-time (Unlimited) for $8.99
Unlimited rentals - up to 1 movie out at a time with unlimited time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $8.99.

1 at-a-time (2 a month) for $4.99
Up to 2 rentals a month - up to 1 movie out at a time with 2 hours of time to watch instantly for a flat monthly fee of $4.99.

A Netflix ready device cannot be used with this plan. To stream movies & TV episodes to your TV instantly via a Netflix ready device,Please choose a plan that includes unlimited rentals.

Hope that helps!
