One thing I was always curious about while watching this show. Why didn't Shawna, Matt's girlfriend during seasons 3 and 4, have any female friends? She was always hanging around Matt and his buddies, or was always hanging around a bunch of guys. Why didn't she ever hang out with other girls? Did she just not get along well with other women, or something? The same thing with Ruthie when she got older. All her friends were guys. What was up with that?
