Hi and good evening. This is my first time here, and I would like to start off by saying thank you to everyone who has posted info about Unsolved Mysteries. I remember watching UM when I was younger and some of the epidsodes were so scary--especially at night and the show's music.
I have held onto these cases in my memory for many years now and I am curious if anyone out there knows any further information.. I apologize that some descriptions are vague-- 1. There was a case featured, probably the first or second season, where a boy was murdered, and I think another person too, perhaps a woman, and the bodies were found with only one shoe/boot. I can still see the image of the reinactment, or maybe it was the original crime scene photo, of a corpse missing a boot. 2. Another one that scaried the daylights out of me was where a woman got her car stuck in the mud, or maybe her car broke down, or maybe she even was involved in a minor car accident, but she abandoned the car and disappeared. Her family was afraid that she may have had a mental breakdown, I think.. 3. A young girl was kidnapped in either Arizona or New Mexico by someone who claimed to be her uncle. The kidnapper knocked on the door late at night and the little girl answered and was taken. Her younger sister witnessed the kidnapping but was not a credible witness because she was so young. any of these sound familiar??? |

I believe the first case you mentioned might be Bobbie Oberholtzer and Annette Kay Schnee. I believe they were both murdered and both had a orange sock on or near them when they were found. Or it may be the case of Kurt Sova was found 5 days after he went missing with no sign of a cause of death and missing a shoe. I believe sometime later an acquaintance of Kurt's named Eugene was also found dead under mysterious circumstances and was missing a shoe. The second case is Kristi Krebbs. Unfortunately she is still missing: http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/808dfca.html The third case is Anthonette Cayedito. She is still missing as well: http://www.charleyproject.org/cases/...nthonette.html |

Yes the Kurt Sova one was quite chilling. Especially with the similar circumstances in how the other boy was found. I still go crazy wondering what in the world Kurt could have died from. Perhaps an undiagnosed heart ailment or something concerning inhalants? |
