Question The Kravitz' House

I was watching the second episode "Be It Ever So Mortgaged" last night and when they showed Abner and Gladys in their house it looked exactly like the house from My Three Sons during the early seasons before they moved to California. If someone knows for sure let me know as I didn't see anything about this online anywhere. I noticed that later on in the series it did not resemble it, at least in episodes I have recently watched.

It might be. I know for sure the Kravitz house was also used on I Dream of Jeannie, since both shows were produced by Screen Gems and filmed on the same lot.

That's what had me confused. I thought My Three Sons was a filmed on the Desilu lot but can't remember for sure. I have the complete series on dvd so I guess I need to watch some episodes. The house sure looks like the one they lived in before the series switched formats and had them living in California. As for Bewitched and Jeannie being both SG products I always found that interesting how The Bellows' house was Sam and Derrin's house on Bewitched.

There is a good possibility that the Kravitz home is the same home as the Douglas's on My Three Sons because at that time Sons was still on ABC.

I've only seen My Three Sons a couple of times and that was years ago so I'll take your word for it. Hopefully someone out there knows for sure.

In the first two seasons, the Kravitzes' interiors used sets that were also used on I Dream of Jeannie, The Donna Reed Show and Dennis the Menace (all Screen Gems shows). I forget now which B&W episodes use which sets, but at some point when all the shows were on at the same time in the early 2000s on Hallmark and TV Land, I noticed. From season three to seven, their livingroom was just the Sam and Darrin's bedroom changed around.

^ Didn't they also use some of the same sets for Gidget?

oh yeah, Gidget too. I know Darrin's parents had her kitchen (which I think was the same as Hazel's?). In one Gidget episode, we see a rare color view of the Stephens's living room as it looked in Bewitched's second (B&W) season.

I remember that. One more thing - was The Patty Duke Show also produced by Screen Gems?

I know the Partridge Family house is on the same circle as the Bewitched house. You can see it in some outdoor scenes. And I think you see the Bewitched House on The Partridge Family.

Yes, Sam and Darrin's house is visible on The Partridge Family in certain scenes.
