This is one of my top ten cases of UM. I found it to be chilling and realistic in it's portrayal of how serial killer cases are treated by police and media alike.

Yet i am amazed that i have heard no updates or anything on the internet regarding this case.

Is it still open? Did they capture a suspect?

Does anybody have anything new on this case or know of a book or website i could read?

As far as I know, there have been no updates, but if anyone knows, it will be CD or Dark Dante

There have been no updates. I did email Michael Berens a few years ago (remember he was the reporter who put the whole thing together and was interviewed in the UM segment) and here is the thread with his reply:
