She did go on vacation with her family, but Irene won't be back here on the boards. The reason why is not important. I know that I will miss her greatly.

I'll miss her too. I wish I'd have known so I could have at least told her goodbye. She usually had some pretty funny and clever things to say. Just in case you should happen to surf back by here by any chance, Irene, Godspeed!

i recall seeing a farewell thread to her that had a cynical reply to it and was deleted shortly thereafter. don't know what happened there or what's going on with her though.

I don't know why she left or whether or not anyone here is responsible but Irene doesn't strike me as someone who would let herself be run off from this board by a so-called trouble maker.

Nobody is keeping Irene from posting. With that said, we keep the drama off the boards here. Post your farewells, but beyond that, it's Irene's business as to why she left. There are many stories to be told, many scoops, lots of behind-the-scenes happenings. I could write a book, and I could shock many people with what's happened over the years, but I won't. Drama free. Thanks.
