Default Celebrity Cardboard Cutouts

I have 4 celebrity cardboard cutouts.

The two from Star Trek I've owned for over a year and I just got the John Wayne and Judy Garland ones last week.

The "Kirk" and "Spock" ones have fooled many people who walk in the house and see them standing in the living room! They do look like real people for a few moments.

I don't own any cut-outs but I do have a funny little story to share. A few weeks ago I was at the FYE store in my local mall. There were cardboard cut-outs of both John McCain and Barack Obama on display near the entrance. I walked up to the John McCain cut-out, put my arms around it and told the clerk, "He's much more life-like than the real one." She just started cracking up, as I did.

Man , they do look real. I really like the Judy Garland and John Wayne. I would try an take good care of them, I've heard that in the future they'll be worth a lot of money.

I haven't really thought of that... their future value. Yes, I will take care of them.

I'm trying to find a "Mary Ann" cutout, but haven't found any yet. There are custom ones available where you send in a large photo and they make a life-sized cutout of it, but it's kind of expensive.

I couldn't help but pose with "my" celebs. Naturally, I chose to stand next to the only female of the group.

He seems to be a popular cutout. There are several styles of him to choose from.

Glad you like them.

Incidentally, the heights for those cutouts are:
John Wayne: 6'2" (he was actually 6'4")
Spock: 5'11" (he is 6'1")
Kirk: 5'11" (he is about 5'9" to 5'10")
Judy Garland: 5'0" (her height, from various sources, ranges from 4'11.5" to 5'0.5")

When I set up the Judy cutout, I was surprised not only how short she was, but her small frame. I guess her daughter Liza was right when she said her mother was "tiny." She didn't really look that short in "The Wizard of Oz." Especially when standing next to the Munchkins.

I have a couple of Star Wars cut outs. I had a friend working as a manager in the movie theater when they were re-released few years back. They're pretty cool.

Movie

The only life-size cutout that I have is of The Three Stooges. I bought that one some years ago. It has a "voice box" on the back that still works. My
nephew took a photo of me with my dog, standing next to them.
