Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Best: Bringing the Dominion into the show.
Worst: Seasons 1 and 2. The show didn't have it's own voice during the first two seasons.

The Facts of Life:
Best: The great episodes of season three.
Worst: Pretty much the entire ninth season.

Star Trek
Best: The beautifully written and directed first season classic "The City on the Edge of Forever".
Worst: Awful third season episodes like "Spock's Brain" and "The Way to Eden"

Star Trek: The Nest Generation
Best: The two-parter "The Best of Both Worlds".
Worst: The entire final season.

The X-Files
Best: Season four
Worst: Continuing the show after David left.

That 70's show:
Best: Almost everything.
Worst: They could have cut down on the drugs.

Step by step:
Best: Cody, of course. But then, the cast were great together in the first place.
Worst: Carole could be too bitchy to Frank.

Family Matters:
Best: Almost everything...
Worst:... except that they didn't work on Judy, and that they had Steve end up with Laura instead of with Myra.

The Cosby show
Best: Almost everything.
Worst: Claire could be too bitchy to Cliff.

"TWO & A HALF MEN"-worst-the sexual humor and jokes, and the sex scenes

"MASH"-worst-after the 3rd seanon, making it "THE ALAN ALDA SHOW" and not keeping it the way it was in those first 3 seasons.

"THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW"-worst-continuing it after Don Knotts left.

Diff'rent Strokes
HIGHS: The show found it's ground from S3-S6
LOWS: The last two seasons w/ Sam and Maggie, was very abysmal in S8 when it moved to ABC to the point where it was almost unwatchable.

Barney Miller
HIGHS: Most of everything after S1.
LOWS: The show lost some of its humor once Jack Soo died, but I continued to watch the show.

The Simpsons
HIGHS: Most of everything
LOWS: Some eps. of the current seasons seem like caricactures of previous seasons at times.

I Love Lucy
The Best:
The friendship of the Ricardos and the Mertzes.
All those years of classic comedy.

The Worst:
All the vacations past the Hollywood trip.

Family Affair
The Best:
Seeing Bill Davis and Mr. French grow as "parents" and their love for the children.
All the great comical, yet dramatic storylines.

The Worst:
The producers trying to keep Jodie and Buffy little kids throughout the whole run.

Sliders
The Best:
The wonderful chemistry between the cast.

The Worst:
The manner in which the characters exited the show.

Family Matters
Best: Ummm.... Im not sure
Worst: Making the show too much about Urkel, getting rid of cast members like Judy and Rachel, and AWFUL lack of continuity!

Reba:
Best: Making Barbra Jean more apart of the show
Worst: Not lasting longer than 6 seasons

GOOD TIMES:
GOOD: Great emsemble cast, great plots, and great theme song
LOWS: Focusing the show too much on J.J. and his antics in later seasons

HUNTER:
GOOD: Fred Dryer and Stepfanie Kramer's excellent job in keeping the show together for 6 solid seasons...until...
LOWS: Stepfanie Kramer left and they replaced her w/ the lady that played Molenski (eventually killed off) and Novak (who I liked far better than Molenski). Also, the 1st season looked a lot like a cracked out version of The A-Team, especially evident in the fact that the bad guys' cars were taken from The A-Team, in that both shows were done by Stephen J. Cannell.
