Since I'm going to take one with my family tomorrow afternoon for the first time in 15 years, I thought I'd ask: When was the last time you had one with your family?

Wow... Pretty sure it was around 1991. Both sides of the family had family portraits done that year, at around the same time (it was my grandparents' 50th wedding anniversary in '91 - they did theirs every 10 years but we never did a family portrait when their 60th rolled around in 2001). We also had family portraits done in 1989 for our church yearbook.
No, scratch that. I just remembered my mom's side of the family did a family portrait in 2000. I'd forgotten about that. So, yeah, 2000 was the last time for me. |

The last time we took a family portrait was for the church yearbook in 2006.

We had to do one for the church directory this past year, as for actual portraits that we chose to do ourselves, the last one was around 1997 or 1998.

the last ones we had taken were a good 15 years ago. my sisters & i were thinking of all pitching in & getting one taken of us as a christmas gift for my parents this year. so we'll probably do that.

we had one taken last April, since the entire family was together for the first time in YEARS when we all gathered for my fathers 85th birthday. (he's 85 and he looks and feels like he's in his late 60s!!)
It's rare that we can get everyone together, since my older brother, his wife, and son, live in Arkansas, and my sister, her husband, and their 2 kids live in New York. Everyone else lives in Pennsylvania, and we're all within a half hour to 45 minutes away from one another. |
