Has anyone bought the dvd sets that are all over the internet? It also appears on eBay from time to time. Though the one I remember last seeing on ebay was all red with a different cover, I assume this is the same thing:

Obviously these can't be more than just tv rips someone put on dvd, but it seems to be sold at several sites, so it makes me wonder why it's gotten this sort of distribution. They say the quality is 8.5 out of 10, but I really don't trust that. Maybe anyone here who's desperate enough can take the plunge and tell us what they're like?

And I'm betting the "original price" of 199 is a complete joke just to make it look like you're getting a deal. Afterall, it's just dvd burns, no doubt.

Oh, and notice how the boxes seem to say "the best of", yet it's boasted as the full series. Really odd..

Yes, they are burned usually from homemade tapes of a syndicated run. These things usually come in paper sleeves. They are often heavily compressed with a dozen or more episodes per disc. They are lying about everything else so why not the packaging and picture quality?

I've seen the site before(along with a couple of other mirror sites offering the same) and it's all a scam. I'm not trying it.
