Ok its like another one so like you know read it!

AT the station... Its about 10:00 PM, Jinny and magda are the only ones there really, and kate, when the dynamic duo AKA Casey and john come in. Caseys eyes are really red, he looks upset, and john looked frazzled.

John: Jinny we need to talk to you.
Jinny: Can it wait im busy here. (gets up to get coffe)
Casey: No, it cant.
Jinny: (comes back over) Well what is it???(takes a sip and puts it down)
John: Its about dad.
Jinny: Yeah? What else?
Casey: (his voice trembling) He... he had another heart attack.
Jiny: WHAT??? OMG! Is he OK???
Magda: Thats awfull.
Jinny: (realizes how upset they are) WHAT??? What is it your not telling me something.. TELL ME N...
John: He died.

Every bit of strength drained out of her at that moment. She heard nothing, saw nothing, the world was totally shut out of her mind. She couldnt breath in. She stayed perfectly still for a few seconds. She inhaled, and the tears just streamed down her face. She allowed herself to slide to her knees, and put her head on her desk. Casey bent down an hugged her, in a feudal attemp to comfort her.

Jinny: How, when?
John: I said heart attack... Like 2 hours ago.

Kate ofcourse had heard this whole thing, and cautiosly exited her office.

Kate: Guys, get outta here, go home rest.
John: Thank you, come on guys, stay at my place.
Jinny: Fine whatever, just get me out of here now. (gets up, and trys not to cry, and gets her coat)
Magda: Call me, if you want, or need something or.
Jinny: (crying) oK, OK... (wipes tears away) yeah.
Casey: (puts his arm around her) come on, well talk in the car.
Jinny: Can i stay at my apartment tonight, alone, please (crys) I just want to be alone.
Casey: Ok whatever you want.
John: Ill, drop you off.
Jinny: (doesnt look at him)*monotone* thank you.

Oh, now im makeing myself sad... Oh thats just wierd.

(About 4 AM at jinnys place)

Jinny rolled around on her bed, everytime she ended up on her left side, she got and finished a beer, and then rolled back over. She rubbed her swollen eyes, and slowly got up. She stubled a bit before she got her balance, and wondered around her apartment, with no particular destination. She went into her abthroom, and looked at her reflection. She looked exausted. SHe splashed some cold water on her face, and took a sip of the beer. The phone rang.

Jinny: Yeah what?
Magda: How are you doing.
Jinny: God awfull.... I mean... ugh. I had way too much to drink so im not even going to try and explain... It will make no sense.
Magda: Do you need anything?
Jinny: No *sniff* Not really, ill live... I think.
Magda: Youll feel better.
Jinny: For now ill just have to take your word on that. (hangs up)

Jinny went back into the bathroom and opened the cabinet. She pulled out a little pill bottle. She couldnt rememer where they came from, she ahd the flu or something. There were about 5 pills left. She read the label:

Jinny:Poly... Poly, (that one she couldnt pronounce.) Take 1 tablet every blah blah blah... Do not mix with alcohol.

She looked at the beer in her hand... Clearly, if she took the pills the results would be fatal. She took the pills back into the living room and sat on the couch.. She wasnt sure what she wanted to do. She counted the pills about a hundred times, there were exactly 6 of them. She brought them up to her mouth, but put them ack down. Casey and john were comeing over, she wasnt sure if the pills would take effect by then, they said they were comeing by EARLY.

Jinny: Well, its now or never.

She quickly swallowed them before she could change her mind again. She took a sip of beer and bagan to think. My last few, however long this takes on life... She always wondered what she would do. She had assumed people would be around, and she could say good bye and i love you, and all that. But it was over, done nothing she could do about it. She was going to die. Niw at least she could see her parents again. She took another sip of her beer and layed back. She didnt think to throw out the pill bottle sitting on the table.

(2 hours later)

Jinny could really feel it kicking in now. She could berly move. Casey and john, walked in without knowing.

Casey: Hey jin whats... um how...
Jinny: (weakly) You know, im doing ok.
Casey: Thats good to hear.
John: (realizes the pill bottle) You didnt take 1 did you?
Jinny: No.
John: Good.
Jinny: I took 6.
Casey: You... WHAT???
John: How could you do this?? Casey call 911, Jinny did you have anyhting to drink?
Jinny: (she felt dizzy)Like 10 beers.
John: Ok we have to get her to the hospital now!
Jinny: No, please.
Casey: Whats wrong with your phone, it doesnt work!
Jinny: I didnt pay the bill.
John: Go start the car. (he picks jinny up) Your going to the hospital with us now.
Jinny: Please John dont, just leave me here.

John knew he had to take her. He looked at casey, and casey glanced back. She was too weak to fight back. She begged him not to take her.

Jinny: John leave me alone.
John: Sorry, cant do that.

(at the station)

Angela: He died? Oh my god, hows jinny doing.
Magda: I called her this morning and she said not to good.
CD: Well thats to be expected.
Kate: Damn shame ill tell you that, her father... Well we were friends from way back.
Angela: What exactly happened?
Magda: Not a clue... heart attack, thats all i know. John and casey came in here last night and jin freaked.
Kate: I told him not to smoke so much. Geez. He just had to be stubborn didnt he!
CD: With all due respect, this is not helping.
Kate: Im sorry its just...(interrupted by magdas phone)
Magda: Ramirez... Hey john, how are you guys doing?

Magdas face got pale. The words Jinny and suicide in the same sentence were too much to handle.

Magda: What happened?.. Ok, well be there. (hangs up) We have a problem.
Angela: What?
Magda: Jinny, drank alot.
CD: Yeah what else is new?
Magda: ANd she took some presciption meds with it.
Angela: You mean like a suicide attempt?
Magda: Yes. Im going to the hospital.
Angela: Hey wait were all comeing!

(hospital)

John and casey were there. Johns leg was shaking with nervoseness, and casey was slumped down in his chair, looking at his watch every other second.

John: So how many milliseconds passed this time.
Casey: You can be a jerk all you want but its not going to fix this.
John: Yeah whatever.
Casey: Please be ok... I cant loose another family member.
John: Shell be fine... she only passed out right before we got here.
Casey: Why would she do this? She practically begged us to let her die all the way here.
John: Please dont remind me.
Magda: Guys hey whats going on whats happening wheres jinny?
Casey: Jinny triet to commit suicide. Shes getting her stomach pumped.
CD: Why would she do this?
John: HELLO! Take a wild guesse!
CD: Im sorry..
John: No im just on edge here... But shell be fine... she was still conciuse when we found her.
Casey: Yeah, and she couldnt stand up.. it had been 2 hours. Begged us to let her die.
Magda: Geez Jinny! Of all the stupid things you do this topps em all.
John: Well it figures shed be drinking. Thats all she ever does.
Casey: So do you, and you knwo it!
John: Oh please... you think i have problems... YOUR GAY!!
Casey: Yes i know that.
Kate: Guys please.
John: Sorry.
Casey: Yeah.
Dr: Extead?

Dr: Sure are enough of ya.. She had her stomach pumped, she didnt like that idea. But shes asleep now. But she can have visitors. You can all go in.

Everyone looked for room 214, Teddy went in first. They all just gathered by the side of her bed. Jinny sqirmed around. She felt horrible.

Jinny: Huh, wha?
Casey: Hi, your not dead.
Jinny: I can tell, where am i?
Teddy: Hospital.
Jinny: (realizes little IV in her arm) Yeah, i see.
John: What in gods name possesed you to do something so stupid????
Jinny: I dont know... i didnt think it through, i had second thoughts, but i took em NE way. Then i just figured, thre was nothing i could do now.
John: Wll it was still pretty dumb!
Jinny: No duh! Ok i know it was pretty stupid. Really stupid.
Casey: Yeah well you seemed to like the idea at the time.
Jinny: You know i barely remember after i took th pills.
John: Yeah well nothing really happened.
Jinny: Thank you for bringing me.
John: ANd what were we going to do let you die.
Magda: You scared the crap out of us you know!
CD: Please dont try tha again!
Jinny: Dont worry. Tis is not too fun.
Casey: (sighs) Dads funerals in 3 days... at 9 in the morning.
Jinny: (moans and falls back) Great!
Kate: can i talk to jinny alone?
Magda: (Confused) Ok?

The group leaves wondering what Capt could possibly want. In the room, captain held up jinnys headphones.

Jinny: Hey, didnt think id see these again!
Kate: I.... ih, bought you a CD.... I dont know if.. (pulls it out)
Jinny: MISSY ELLIOT!!! THANK YOU! You are the best boss!
Kate: Well then i guesse you like it.
Jinny: Thank you sooooo much.
Kate: Yeah well.
Jinny: Do you think ive lot my mind?
Kate: What?
Jinny: Do you think i have?
Kate: No... we all deal with pain differently... We make stupid choices.. Sometimes we want it to end. You havent lost your mind, you made a mistake.
jinny: I never actually thought this would happen. (sobs)
Kate: Come here(hugs her) Itle be ok, everything wil be fine.

***That night***

Jinny: (crying) Daddy, Mommy, i have no clue if you can hear me, but i miss you guys... Really badly. ****sniff**** Im sorry i did this, im sorry. Maybe i should slow it down a bit... Maybe not drink all those shots... and beers and whiskeys. and i should stop picking up guys... Its not good at all. And i know that.. And dad youve told me that... Ill try to slow it down. Maybe it would help if i could at least admit to myself how bad of an alcoholic i am... Everytime i try to stop, i jst keep thinking one more cant hurt, well just one more. which turns into 2 then 3. I dont want to live that way... Ive hurt too many people and as kate dearest put it ' caused antagonisms' What annoys me is thats how all my friends see me, they just dont say it in fromt of me. I think i need help.
