Default Good Times characters that were in the 1974 Movie-"Uptown Saturday Night"

Penny's Female Doctor from season 6

Thelma's boyfriend-"Ebe" from season 4

James slimy friend who was The Reverend-season 1

The Reverend's Tall and Dark Sidekick-season 1

Cousin Raymond from season 6

J.J's older Girlfriend-Ms. Bishop from season 4

After seeing Bill Cosby in that movie no way should he have had a problem with good times. So that defintely had to be a rumor because that movie was FILLED with negative stereotypes-lol

I can name just about every character from the movie you listed except the reverend's tall sidekick

"Leggy Peggy"
"Geechie's Henchmen"
"Congressman Lincoln"
"Silky Slim"
"Sara Jackson"

And no, Bill should not have had a problem with Good Times considering he also co-starred in Uptown's sequal, "Let's Do It Again" with featured John Amos and Jimmie Walker. Bill's character in Uptown was street and raw, and he did it without cursing, I admire him for that.

Man, if I was an actor in the 70's, I would have been quite a busy one. LOL.

I find that hard to believe, and it' been on for years on my local station but at that time I wasn't into 70's music. When I was 10 I was into watching movies from the 50's

If you find someone then let me know. Off the top of my head I can't think of any one who was on Good Times and Car Wash. It just strikes me as odd that you've never seen Car Wash, That is a classic movie ...Richard Pryor in that movie CLASSIC!!

In the movie Five On The Black Hand Side, There were ALOT of Good Times characters in that movie, including Ja'net and the Evans alcoholic cousin lol.

Nobody from Good Times that was in Car Wash. That movie didn't even have a main character, it just advertised Richard Pryor on the case.

I recommend it. You will like it. It had Moses Gunn, Rosalind Cash, Thalmulus Rasulala, and a very young Laurence Fishborne.

I saw that some years and years ago. It's not the greatest movie but it has a lot of stars in it that you would recognize like... The grandma from Fresh Prince, Glynn Turman (Col. Taylor from Different World), Larry (Thelma's boyfriend) from Good Times, Clarice Taylor (Cliffs Mom from the Cosby Show) Ja'net DuBois, The guy who played Diana's Dad on Good Times in JJ's Fiancee

"A Piece Of the Action" wasn't a favorite of mine but it had an all-star cast

Janet Dubois
Ernest Thomas
Tamu
Albert Reed
Sheryl Lee Ralph
Denise Nicholas

Of course, this was the 3rd and final installment of the Sidney Poiter and Bill Cosby movies.
