Default Christine

A while back, someone started a thread on this page telling us that the character of Paula in "The Slumber Caper" was played by Christine Baranski. I have since researched this topic and found out this this poster was absolutely right! The thing that I most associate Christine with is the part of Senetor Spinkle in "Marci X". By the way, this is my absolute favortie movie of all times! I think that "The Power in my Purse" is a wonderful song! Lisa Kudrow is hot! In any event, I have since seen the movie known as "Mama Mia!" I thought that the character of Tanya played by Christine was superb! Ever since I was twelve years old, I have had a weekness for a female in boots. I thought that the character of Julie from "Gimme a Break!" looked very sexy in hers! In any event, in this movie, in one of the song and dance numbers Christine wore a very lovely pair of dress boots. I thought that she was a hottie! In addition to this, I have posted messages on various pages of this site telling fans about babes who I felt maintained very attractive exteriors in there old age. Christine was already well into her fifties when "Mama Mia!" was made. If you go over to the "Gimme a Break", "Mad About You" or "Will and Grace" pages of this site, you will find messages about how attractive Cynthia Harris, Hazel Shermet and Blythe Danner are. I thought that all three of these babes as well as Christine looked great over fifty!

Funny, the first thing I thought of when I saw the subject "Christine" was actress Christine Taylor, who played Marcia in the movie revivals in the 1990s.

Anyway, I did a Yahoo! search for Ms. Baranski since I had never heard of her before, and I discovered that she is older than not just Maureen, but Barry, too! She was born in 1952, which is four years ahead of "Mo." I thought she'd be the same age as her! Oh, well!

So did I... Christine Taylor was exactly who I thought of when I saw the title of this thread. She was the only "Christine" I knew that was ever associated with the Brady Bunch...

It has been a long time since anyone has responded to any of my posts on this board. This being the case, I am very happy to get the two responses to this one! Has anyone reading this post seen the "Mama Mia!" movie yet? What did you think of Christine's performance? Did anyone other than me think that she was a hot number in those boots? Wow!

I thought Christine was a well-known actress, having had a regular role on "Cybill" (1995-1998). I'm probably wrong in thinking that's her best known work, but personally I don't remember any of her other roles...!

She's listed at IMDb in the Brady Bunch episode:

I am very happy to see that there are other Christain Baranski Fans out there telling us what they think! However, so far, no one has said anything about what they thought of her in the current movie "Mama Mia!" In my opinion, the site of Christain in boots has only been surpassed by one other female in boots in the whole world! This female was Lauri Hender in her role of Julie from "Gimme a Break!" back in 1982! Wow! Another woman who I thought looked hot in boots was Debra Messing in her role of Grace from "Will and Grace". I especially liked the boots that she wore in the episode known as "Star Spangled Banter"! Even though I would not say that this site surpassed the site of Christian, I would say that it at least equaled it! Just my opinion.
