I'm not worried about season two. I'm pretty sure it will come out. Because this is Sony, it may take a while. They're awful slow with their releases. But even some of their "abandoned" shows have been picked up again.

Now if "Benson" came from Warner Bros. I'd be worried.

I agree, when it comes to Warner Brothers. They released the first season of "Growing Pains" (a show that was in the top ten for most of it's 7 season run) over two years ago and there's still no word if they will ever release anymore.

At least with Sony, there's hope.

The show gets MUCH better in the second season, with the addition of Pete and Clayton. The themes also become more adult and less focus is on Katie.

I think the show starts to pick up a little in Season 2, but Seasons 3 through 5 are my favorites. I think this is when the show really gets to be at its funniest and its most interesting.

Unlike most sitcoms "Benson" never became stagnant, although the last season did have a few episodes that were really far out.

Yeah they did some weird stuff in that last season, but to be fair there were a couple of episodes in earlier seasons that would qualify as weird too (the Governor sees a UFO, the robot episode, etc).
