FAN FIC: Bad Day

Title: Bad Day

**[Scene 1]

[Everyone is at the station except Jinny. She's late, as usual.]
Kate: Where's Jinny?
Magda: Late again, I guess.
[Jinny walks in. She looks really bad. Her hair looks all screwed up, it doesn't even look like she brushed it. Her clothes are really sloppy. She sits down at her desk. Magda walks over to her.]
Magda: Jin, you alright? [Jinny doesn't pay any attention to her.] Jin?
Jinny: What!
Magda: Are you sure you're alright?
Jinny: Yeah. Sure.
Kate: Jinny, [motions for Jinny to come into her office. Kate turns around and walks into her office.] can I see you for a minute?
Jinny: *mumbles to herself* What does she want this time?
[Jinny walks into her office and sits down. She looks very tired.]
Kate: Jinny...
Jinny: What?!
Kate: Are you OK?
Jinny: Yeah, *yawns* sure. I'm... I'm fine.
[Teddy walks into the Captains office. He looks at Jinny. Then he looks at her again, then at Kate. She just shrugs her shoulders.]
Teddy: Jinny?
[Jinny turns around.]
Jinny: What?!?!!?
Teddy: Are you OK?
Jinny: Yes Teddy, I'm fine!! You're like the 500th person that's asked me that! Just leave me alone! [Jinny walks out of the office and sits down at her desk. Teddy follows her and sits beside her.]
Teddy: Jinny, what's the matter with you? You're acting weird today.
Jinny: Oh, so I'm weird. Is that it?
Teddy: No, Jinny. It's just that... your not acting like you usually do. Is something bothering you?
Jinny: I just had a rough night last night. *Teddy looks at Jinny* Not like that! I couldn't sleep.
Teddy: Maybe you need to go home.
Jinny: Yeah, yeah, yeah...
Teddy: No, I'm serious. You look... *cough*
Jinny: OK, now you're saying I look bad?! Geezus!
[Magda walks over.]
Magda: Teddy, can I talk to you for a second?
Teddy: Yeah sure...
[They walk over to Magda's desk.]
Magda: What's bothering Jinny?
Teddy: She just said she couldn't sleep.
[Magda raises an eyebrow]
Teddy: Well! That's what she said!
Magda: Well, alright...
[Teddy walks back over to Jinny and kisses her on the cheek.]
Teddy: I gotta go, love you.
Jinny: Alright. I love you too.

**[Scene 2]
[Later that day... Jinny's feeling even worse than she did before. She fell asleep. Her face is on her desk. Kate walks out of her office.]
Kate: Ji- *sees Jinny is asleep and stops, then looks at Magda* What are we supposed to do about this? [Just as she finishes, Teddy walks in.] Ahh... Teddy!
Teddy: Yeah...
Kate: Could you do me a favor?
Teddy: Sure.
Kate: *points at Jinny, asleep on her desk* Take her home.
Teddy: Sure! [Teddy grabs Jinny's coat and picks her up. Jinny doesn't even wake up. He puts her in his car and drives her home. As soon as he stops at her apartment house, she wakes up and looks around.]
Jinny: What am I doing home? Is it 9 already?
Teddy: No, Jinny. You fell asleep and the Captain asked me to take you home.
Jinny: Well... alright...
[Jinny and Teddy get out of his car and he helps her up to her apartment. He has his arms around her as they walk up the stairs. Jinny reaches in her coat pocket for her keys. She finds them and opens the door, but the door won't open. The door knob turns all the way, but something is holding the door shut. Teddy rams into the door. It opens. All of Jinny's stuff is scattered EVERYWHERE. Her couch and tables are all on their sides. Clothes are in the living room. Jinny turns pale and Teddy hugs her.]
Jinny: What in the hell? *Jinny's eyes widen*
[A tall, skinny, dark headed man jumps out of her bedroom and grabs Jinny out of Teddy's arms and points a gun to her head. He puts his arm around her throat, like he was going to choke her. The man looks at Teddy.]
Man: You move and I swear... I'll kill her!!!!
Teddy: No, please... you don't want to do this. *Teddy says very nervously*
Man: Oh yes I do!
[Man throws Jinny up against the wall and holds her up by the throat. Jinny starts to gag.]
Man: You damn bitch!!!!!!
[Teddy runs up behind the man and grabs the gun away from the man. As soon as he gets his attention off of Jinny, she uses her feet to shove him down on the floor. He hits his head on the table and it knocks him out cold. Jinny runs over to Teddy and hugs him really hard and starts to cry. She burys her face in his chest so he wouldn't know she was crying, but he knew. After Jinny calms down, she calls the S.F.P.D.]
Jinny: Hey Cap'...
Kate: Yeah Jinny, what is it?
Jinny: Someone broke into my apartment. *looks at the man, still knocked out cold*
Kate: Well, do you know who it was?
Jinny: Uhhh... yes and no.
Kate: What the hell does that mean?
Jinny: He's right here, but I don't know who in the hell he is!
Kate: Allright, Jinny. Just sit tight, someone will be there in a minute.
[At the station, Captain calls Mag, C.D. and Angela to her office.]
Kate: Someone broke into Jinny's apartment today after she left for work this morning.
Magda: Oh my God, is she alright?
Kate: As far as I know.
CD: What do you want us to do?
Angela: Yeah, well do anything to help Jinny.
Kate: I want you to go over to her apartment. Magda, I want you to talk to Jinny and find out EVERYTHING that happened, and I mean everything.
Magda: Alright.
Kate: CD and Angela, I want you to bring the guy back here for questioning.
CD: OK, Captian.
[They all go out of the office and drive to Jin's apartment.]

**[Scene 2]
[The man is sitting up against the table, half conscious. Jinny and Teddy are sitting on the floor. Teddy has his arm wrapped around her. She's still crying. CD, Magda, and Angela walk in. Jinny quickly wipes her eyes. Magda runs over to Jin and hugs her.]
Magda: Jin, how are ya?
Jinny: *says depressingly* Fine.
[Magda sits down beside Jinny, with Teddy on the otherside, so Jinny is in the middle. CD and Angela jerk to guy up and slap hand cuffs on him and shove him out the door. On the way out, Angela reads him his rights. CD turns around and looks at Jinny.]
CD: Hey Jin, [Jinny looks up] I'm sorry about this.
[Jinny looks back down at the floor, CD, Angela, and the man go down to the station.]
[Still at Jinny's apartment.]
Magda: OK Jin, you gotta tell me everything that happened.
Jinny: *pauses for a second* Teddy walked me up to my apartment [Magda smiles], it was all screwed up like it is now. The that bastard came out of my bedroom and... and... *looks all teary-eyed, she can't finish*
[Magda looks at Teddy]
Teddy: He grabbed her and held a gun to her head, he said if I did anything, he'd kill her. Then he shoved her up against the wall and held her up by her throat. I grabbed the gun out of out his hand and Jinny shoved him into the table and knocked him out.
Magda: Wow, good job, Jin! [Jinny looks up at Magda and grins.] You to Teddy.
[Teddy grins too.] Well, I'd better get back down to the station and tell the Captain.
[Magda gets up and walks out the door. Teddy stands up.]
Teddy: Well, *extends his hand out to Jinny to help her up* we'd better get this mess cleaned up.
[Jinny grabs Teddy's hand and he helps her up. They begin to clean up her apartment.]

**[Scene 3]
[At the station, CD and Angela walk in with the man. Magda is right behind them. The captain walks up to him.]
Kate: Ahhh... so your the one. [Magda tell the Captain everything that happened.]*Kate sounds very stern* Come with me.
[Kate takes the man into one of the questioning rooms or whatever... She sits him down in the chair and starts to question him.]
Kate: Alright, I have two questions for you: Who in the hell are you, and why in the hell did you break into a cop's apartment? You had no business there.
Man: I had all the business in the world there!
Kate: Listen to me, I don't know who in the hell you are, but you do NOT break into a cop's apartment and mess up all her stuff. Especially assaulting her!!!! *Kate turns around and props up on the table* Damn!!!
Man: Listen Lady, I slept with Jinny about 2 months ago.
[Kate turns around and her eyes widen.]
Kate: Oh, is that right?
Man: Yeah, it is.
Kate: But still, why did you break into her apartment?
Man: She told me she didn't want to see me anymore.
Kate: So...
Man: So... she pissed me off.
Kate: Well, then why did it take you so long to do something?
Man: I had to plan it out just right.
Kate: It didn't work, did it?

**[Scene 4]

[Jinny and Teddy just finished cleaning up her apartment. Nothing was missing. Jinny's a mess. She's really depressed. Jinny leans on the wall and Teddy grabs her and puts his arms around her waist. Jinny leans on him, pauses, and looks up at him.]
Jinny: You know, I could have been killed.
Teddy: I know baby, I'm sorry.
[Jinny rubs her hand across Teddy's cheek, raises up and kisses him. Her other arm is resting on his shoulder. Jinny takes a step back, so Teddy takes a step froward. He sees what she's doing, so he takes a step forward. They end up in the bedroom. Jinny pushes Teddy onto the bed and she jumps ontop of him and kisses him. Jinny reaches and undoes his tie. Teddy begins to unbutton her shirt.][The door to Jinny's apartment was cracked open. The captain walks in. She looks in the kitchen, but nobody's there, she walks into Jinny's bedroom and sees Jinny ontop of Teddy, both of their shirts are unbuttoned. Jinny's is half-way off. Jinny is kissing Teddy now, very passionately. Kate interrupts.]
Kate: Is this a bad time?
[Jinny quickly breaks off the kiss, and pulls her shirt back on, Teddy begins to button his back up.]
Jinny: Uhhh... ummm... *coughs* No... I guess not.
Kate: You know, that's what got you into this mess in the first place.
[Teddy looks at Jinny very curiously.]
Jinny: What in the hell does that mean?
Kate: I thought you didn't know the guy that broke into your apartment.
[Jinny's now buttoning up her shirt and Teddy's putting his tie back on.]
Jinny: *looks at the floor* I don't.
Kate: Well, Jinny, he knows you.
Jinny: How?
Kate: That's a dumb question. Jinny, you slept with the guy!!!
[Teddy looks at Jinny, he looks kind of embarassed.]
Teddy: Jinny?
Jinny: Fine, I did, but that was two months ago!
Kate: Why didn't you just tell the truth?
Jinny: Because I was embarrased, OK! Teddy was standing there right beside me, and I didn't want him to know!
[Teddy puts his arm around Jinny.]
Teddy: Jin, I know you have a past, I do to. [Captain looks at Teddy, very curiously. Teddy rolls his eyes at Kate.]
Kate: Alright Jinny... were gonna lock this guy up...
Jinny: Alright.
Kate: I'll see you tomorrow at work, behave yourselves... [Captain goes back to the station.]
Jinny: Oh my God...
Teddy: What?
Jinny: That was embarassing. I can't believe she saw us.
Teddy: Ahh, Jin. Don't worry about it. It's not like she's never done that.
Jinny: Yeah... I guess so... Hey, I'm sorry about that other... *clears her throat* thing...
Teddy: It's OK Jinny, I still love you. Everybody makes mistakes. Besides, that's in your past.
Jinny: Yeah, I guess you're right.
Teddy: You haven't had anything to eat all afternoon, lets go get something.
Jinny: Alright.
[They get up off the bed and walk to the door. Teddy puts on his jacket, then helps Jinny put hers on. She turns around, kisses him, and they walk out the door.
[Screen fades...]

BRAVO! I've gone back and tried to read a majority of yours fics and they're continuosly getting better and better. I have alot of reading to catch up on so catch ya later! BRAVO!
