Default Chucky's everywhere

Did Chucky's family move when the Cleavers did?

When the Cleavers lived in the first house, Chucky would wander over, like in the garage door painting episode, in the episode when Beav and Wally babysit the little girl, etc...And the second house in the episode with Chucky's new shoes, Chucky's mom says she is from across the street.

Actually, I think the boy in the garage that dumped the paint all over himself was Benji, even though I think he was the same actor that played Chucky, but yeah, it seems little Chucky gets around.

I remember a Benji, not a Chucky. Benji is the one who spilled paint on himself. He is also the kid who thought that Beaver was turned into a rock.
Yes, I wondered how he got around everywhere, unsupervised.

Wow, not only were they different characters, but different actors! I could have sworn they were at least the same actor. Joey Scott played Benji, Rory Stevens played Chuckie(and the little boy in the episode where Wally sells ice cream)

Chucky was the annoying brat who Beaver takes to buy new shoes, because for some reason Chucky's mom taking her husband/or picking him up from the airport takes an entire day.

The Bellamy family apparently did move as the Cleavers moved, because Benjie was a close neighbor ('across the street'?) in the first house ("Garage Painters"), and the in the same situation at the second house ("Beaver the Magician"). Later, it's Chucky Murdock whose mother 'demands' that Wally take to buy new shoes, and he later has a sister named Pat for whom Beaver babysits with the notion that he is going to sit with Chucky.

But I think the situation is comparable to Gilbert and Richard... virtually interchangeable characters; the ep just goes with which actor is available (although I don't think Benjie and Chuckie were ever in the same ep).

Thanks, tdr...I forgot about "Beaver the Magician" taking place at the second house.
