New parents Jamie-Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge are busy planning their wedding, which will reportedly take place before the end of 2008.

The teen couple welcomed its first child, Maddie, into the world last month, and Spears, 17, and 19-year-old Aldridge want to seal the deal with a wedding in the groom's hometown of Liberty, Mississippi, where they share a home. According to OK! Magazine, the pair - engaged since March - is planning a low-key southern-style wedding, but Jamie-Lynn's superstar sister Britney is expected to step in as maid of honor.

A source tells the tabloid, "She loves everything about the area where she lives. She's not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills."

And the bride-to-be has been working out furiously to shed her baby weight so she can fit into the wedding dress of her dreams. The insider adds, "She's already down to her pre-pregnancy weight."

I'm glad they're getting married. They seem very down to earth, living in Mississippi, and having a low-key wedding. I wish them a long and happy life. I think they'll have a lot of kids. Jamie Lynn seems wise beyond her years. From what I've been seeing, Britney is on the comeback trail, both personally and professionally. I saw recent pictures of her in a bikini, and she looked fantastic, the best she's looked in years. They're sharing custody of their sons. Not yet 50/50, but if she stays on the straight and narrow, I'm sure they'll get there.
