Question Artificial grass ?

I've seen artificial grass like Astroturf in ballparks. I have also seen houses where the stairs or a path has that plastic green grass carpet that you buy and cut up.
But this episode had an outfit that did your whole yard in artificial grass. I have never heard of this, has anyone ?

Yes, that episode aired in Season 4 ("How Green Was My Grass").

Whoops, I didn't make myself too clear in my original post. I too have seen the episode. What I wonder, is if anyone knows of people that have had artificial lawns put in at their house. I never heard of this, outside of this episode.

I knew a guy who had his lawm removed and poured concrete over it. NO kidding. It looked weird too.

Oh, I'm sorry, I misunderstood the question. I think astroturf is hideous (and uncomfortable to walk on), but I guess it was really big back in the 1960s & '70s. I personally don't know anyone who had it installed in their lawn, and I don't know why you'd want to!!

I've never heard of anyone having it put down on their whole yard either. My mom covered our porch steps with it back in the early 70's. I thought it was kind of scratchy & not very comfortable.

Yes, many of the stadiums have done away with turf as well.

I have, they've been showing commercials for it late night. I forget the name of the fake grass and company. It's suppose to be just like lawn, except you don't have to mow it, I think it's called Heavenly Greens.

Heavenly Greens - the stuff looks nice on their website, but I don't think I would ever have that done.
Maybe it was more popular in the Bewitched days, since they did a whole show revolving around it.
I also have folks in my neighborhood who are pouring over their back yards, or parts of them, with concrete, looks crappy.

I've never heard of it before now - but I STILL wouldn't get it. Like the lady in that episode - "I like REAL grass!" That couple was so funny.

"I know one thing - you've been drinking too much beer!" - the wife

"STUBBORN - that's what you are!" - the husband

They truly were The Bickersons - maybe even more so than Gladys and Abner.

I don't usually post on here, but read it a lot. But I have to say, in being the Liz Montgomery fan that I am, speaking of "How Green Was My Grass" in season 4 -- does anyone really think Liz ever looked any better on the show than in this episode when she's upstairs with Darrin and he's trying to get her to admit to changing the grass while she's sitting at her vanity in the bedroom?

She's up there combing her hair out as she's trying to get ready for bed and just looks absolutely stunning. I mean, she always looks good, but half the time she's got her hair up, doing something domesticated downstairs or whatever. I mean, the only scene to me that comes close would also be from season four in "I Confess" when again, she's in bed and Darrin's telling her that he thinks she uses witchcraft at the drop of a hat and that she loves it. I don't think she's ever looked better in Bewitched than in those two scenes and I've about gone through pretty much all 254 of the shows now.

Anyone got any other "drop dead gorgeous" moments for Liz in this show that rival those two? I think I've got it narrowed down pretty good but I'm willing to hear other suggestions on the matter.
