In the various episodes the exterior has appeared to look like white, a light pink and light yellow. Maybe it's the lighting or my bad VHS tapes, anyone have an idea of the true color?

Good question....I think it's just plain old white, but I'll have to check into it.

Interesting...I've noticed the difference myself but only in the last few years.
If the shot was taken late in the evening the lighting could make white appear pink or if it was taken at midday it could be the other way around. Another thing to take into consideration is the color accuracy difference between the old style CRT (cathode ray tube) televisions and the newer LCD models. In my opinion, if a CRT set is in good condition and ajusted correctly it's color can be much more accurate than a LCD set. And while I'm trashing LCD televisions I'll take time to mention the fact that the old style CRT's are much better for viewing material that was originally taped back in the per-digital days. You know the old saying. "Newer isn't always better!" OK...I'll get of my soapbox now.
