Default TV characters with the best/worst jobs

Best: Julie on THE LOVE BOAT. She had the opportunity to travel to Mexico, Alaska and Australia. She made it look like her job was just to make people smile and help them find their cabin.

Worst: The waitresses on ALICE. Low wages, fighting with Mel, doing all kinds of things other than waitressing.

I know there is more.

I can't think of a best job.

Worst job - the law "enforcement" of Hazzard County (Dukes of Hazzard).

^ YEEEEEEHAW!! I love the show, but actually my favorite character is Enos. He was such a sweetie, and was so in love with Daisy. You gotta love all the car chases and General Lee jumps!!

Best Job: Martin Lawrence on Martin
Dr. Johnny Fever and Venus Flytrap on WKRP.
DISC JOCKEYS of course! Trust me, I LOVE being a DJ.

Worst Job: Roc on Roc. He was a garbage man. A truly underappreciated career.

Hmm... let's see....

Full House's Danny Tanner was a talk show host, while in the beginning, Jessie was an exterminator!

Later, though... Jessie and Joey started working in advertising, which was pretty cool. Then toward the end, they became DJ's.

Rosanne-I wouldn't have wanted any of her jobs. She worked in a factory or something and then at a restaurant?

Monk-Natalie is Adrian Monk's assistant which sounds like a cool but challenging job!

Seinfeld-Elaine was the editor of a catalog (which would be very cool), George worked for the NY Yankees (although I'm not really sure what he did there!), and Jerry was a comedian!

Julie's job on Love Boat was very cool!

BTW this is a great topic!

Ted Baxter had a pretty cool job. All he did was read a script of the news.

On Everybody loves Raymond, Ray gets to travel and gets paid good money for his job as a sportwriter.

Robert however is a cop and:

"I go to work, people shoot at me. Ray goes to work and people do the wave."

Ed Norton had the worst job by far. I wouldn't have liked Ralph's either, but at least it didn't smell as bad.

Homer Simpson and his fellow employees from the power plant. They work for Mr. Burns. Need I say more?

Also, the MASH gang had lousy jobs. They had to work in a freakin' war zone!

Best - Maxwell Sheffield from the Nanny, he was rich & got to put on plays for a living

Worst - Jane Hathaway from the Beverly Hillbillies, she had to work for that terrible slave driver, Mr. Drysdale
