Sharona was played by Bitty Schram.

In addition to Monk, she was also in the movie "A League of Their Own". She was on the same team as Geena Davis and Tom Hanks was their manager. A funny scene in the movie Tom criticizes her for a play that she made, and she starts crying to which Tom says, "There's no crying in baseball"!

I haven't heard a thing about her since she left "Monk". I never really found out why she left (probably some kind of contract dispute) but on the USA Network boards, there are probably ten threads on why she should come back, etc, etc. I love Traylor Howard as Natalie Teeger, but I think Bitty made a huge mistake in leaving the show.
