Need the title of an episode, please - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I didn't watch the "Hogan Family" much, but I remember one episode that was so hilarious, I am dying to see it again.

I don't know what the title of the show was (Valerie, Valerie's Family, Hogan Family), but it involved that guy that was always annoying Jason Bateman. He was kind of a nerdy guy. During the show, they both ended up in the hospital and were in separate beds. Jason Bateman heard the other guy and the nurse talking and was trying to see what they were doing. So he grabs a spoon off of his tray and holds it out to see if he can see their reflection.

Sorry, I don't have any other info, but that was probably one of the funniest things I had ever seen on TV. I think I saw it back in 1988, and to this day, I still want to see that episode!

I'd appreciate it if anyone knows the name of it.

I found this episode on Youtube so THANK YOU SO MUCH for the title! OMG, that was a hilarious episode! I think the only part I saw when it first aired was when he was holding that spoon. Jason Bateman hasn't changed much at all-and that's a good thing! Wow, looking back at my original post, I'm amazed at how well I remembered the basics about the episode!

I love in the third "part" where they incorporate a little drama into it, with his friend being afraid about the x-rays. And then they go right back into comedy. That's great!
