Her character had contracted HIV or AIDs when we last saw her. I wonder if that plays a part in whether the producers have ever considered her returning.

really? i didn't know that. i just started watching a few weeks ago on SoapNet and it's addicting. lol.
since the spin-off is a show about issues people deal with (from what I hear), i think they should let her return and discuss it.

I think I recall her making a statement a couple months ago saying she had no interest in doing the show.

I think it was just an HIV scare, and that she didn't actually have it.

That's right. And the last time we saw her was when she came back for the final episode of the show. She was healthy, on good terms with everyone, and blonde.
