There was an early "Fresh Prince Of Bel Air" episode called 'Mistaken Identity'. Carlton is asked to drive Mr. Furth's car to Palm Springs. Will comes along and they end up getting stopped by police for "stealing" the car. They get thrown into jail before Uncle Phil, Aunt Viv & Mr. Furth get them out. The whole point of this episode is that they were stopped because they were black and driving in an expensive car, so it dealt with racism.

well, certainly "ALL IN THE FAMILY" and the other Norman Lear shows have. I can't think of any specific episodes right now, though.
And there was a "MASH" episode once where an officer was purposely volunteering all the black soldiers in his outfit for hazardous duty so they'd get hurt, get rotated home, and out of his unit. (I don't know if you'd want to consider that though, since that was after it became "THE ALAN ALDA SHOW") Once on "BARNEY MILLER" Harris got arrested or something, just because he's black. Once on "HOGANS HEROES" Klink ordered Kinch to fight in a match against a german, because Kinch was black. |

Guys, if you paid attention to the original post, he said REVERSE racism or sexism. For example: someone is persecuted because they are WHITE or MALE.
And actually, I think reverse sexism is the current malady of MOST sitcoms today. The guy is portrayed as an idiot that his wife/girlfriend/fiance has to coddle and talk down to regularly. Ex: King of Queen, Yes Dear, According to Jim.... |

I believe there was an episode on "Moesha", where some black guys were rascist against a white guy. But I haven't watched "Moesha" in years, so I don't remember much about it.

On A Different World, there is an episode where the two main black actors are arrested along with three white guys for fighting in the school parking lot. The black guys claim it is racism that the white guys started a fight with them (too many details to get into) anyhoo, towards the end of the episode, it was shown that the black guys were just as wrong for being racist as one of them assumed the white cop might be a member of the "KKK" and wouldn't give them a fair shake. The white cop proved them wrong by saying those two black guys don't know him and they don't know that he did in fact march with Dr. Martin Luther King back in the 60's. The cop proceeded to tell the black guys that they are pretty much doing what the white guys were doing...ASSUMING something abt someone by merely looking at their skin color. Great episode.

The way almost all women treat Alan on "Two and a half men" is reverse sexism for sure.
