Is your burner a DVD burner? I don't have one, so I have to burn them as SVCDs (from mpeg format) and then copy the SVCD onto a DVD with a DVD Recorder. Fortunatley I have a DVD player that will play SVCDs, because a lot of them won't.

I do have a DVD burner on my computer, but that Roxio thing is expensive! I need something free, LOL!

I've used DVD Flick and DVD Styler, which are both free. But my problem tends to be that my videos are all avi's, and they get screwed up when I try to convert them b/c they're so big. I'm still trying to figure out how to do it myself. LOL

TMPG will convert avi's to mpegs. I think the first 24 videos are free? Some amount. Then you'll have to pay.
http://www.download.com/TMPGEnc/3000...dlPid=10353607 They also had a DVD one there I saw. But it's only free to try. http://www.download.com/TMPGEnc-DVD-...dlPid=10852435 |

They are all formats that videos on computers can be in. I have no idea what the difference is though.

If you don't want to bother with software, you can always go to youconvertit.com. You just upload the video, choose what to convert to, and they'll email you a link to download the file. It's free.
I think there's a size limit, but it's pretty big.
