My favorite episode is the one where Chris and all the other paperboys are fired and replaced by a huge paper delivering machine. It's my favorite because of the part where Chris goes out to battle the machine wearing a superhero outfit made of aluminum foil and duct tape. Of course, this episode was also the first one where Chris was killed at the end (the paper delivering machine ran him over).

My Favorite episode is where Chris goes in to the big city and his father keeps warning him not to let anyone slip him a mickey and he does. Chris's father was hilarious on that show.

My favorite is the one where he meets that alien. It's hilarious when they eat him.

I love that Big City one, especially because the whole thing is filmed in front of the most intentionally fake background you've ever seen.

I also like the one where he tries to ingratiate himself with Sharon, the wife of his best friend, because she won't let her husband hang out with Chris anymore. Chris becomes completely subservient to her, waiting on her and calling her "Miss Sharon". But he can't keep it up and cracks by the end of the episode, shoving frankfurters in his mouth and calling himself "Hot Dog Boy". Brilliant.

Cool

When Chris married sexxy actress Deborah Shelton and had affair with that sexxy woman that bend over in the opening of the show to get her paper. Then Deborah caught them that one was my favorite episode. I saw some of the episodes on video at some store I forgot where.

I have 2 favorites:

1) The one where Chris is in a community play. This has the single funniest disco sequence ever filmed.

2) "One Baby Emmitt" where Chris thinks he was adopted from an Amish family and goes over there to live like the Amish. Priceless.

The true great ones are never understood or watched in their own time!

I'm with Omar, I like the one with Spewey the alien. When Spewey has regenerated and is angrily walking out the door and Chris says, "Spewey, are you mad because we ate you?" That cracks me up no matter how many times I see it. Of course, that whole show cracks me up, no matter what episode it is. I think it was one of the funniest shows on tv. And cleverly written too!

"I'm calling him Spewey. You get it? It's an acronym for Special Person Entering the World,...Egg Yolks."

I don't know if it's my favorite episode, but one of my favorite Chris Elliott lines was in the episode where he is locked in a freezer with his friend's wife, and he's pounding on the door but no one can hear him. He says something like, "Why won't you open the door? It's because I'm 1/16th Lakota Sioux Indian, isn't it you racist bastards!"

Another good one was where Chris was a counselor for a gang of tough kids.

So many great episodes!

The first two that come to mind are the one where Chris gets his tonsils out and is convinced he won't survive the operation and the one where Chris creats a "time drink" togo back to 1977 to stop Gus from urinating on his boss and losing his job as a police officer.

My favorite hasn't been mentioned: Drivers Test.

It has the best line of any Get a Life episode.

The cop giving the test says something to Chris and Chris responds with (all lines are approx.)

"Don't blame me because they busted you down to giving driver's tests."

The cop: "Every officer takes driver's test duty once in awhile."

Then Chris utters the single best line of any of the episodes. IMO

"Yeah! I loved all of the episodes of Baretta where he gave the driver's tests."
