This season some Dallas moneymen take a bath -- and one takes a shower. If you don’t know what that means, you’re in for a surprise! The action begins with Southfork mourning the death of Bobby Ewing. But before the tears are even dried, folks are up to their oil wells in chicanery, greed, and lust. JR romps with his mistress, institutionalizes his wife and plots to destroy his new business partner. Mark Graison returns from the presumed dead to complicate Pam’s love life; Cliff concocts a can’t-miss scheme to grab control of Ewing Oil. A femme fatale shipping CEO vamps JR, Jack, and even Cliff. Then there’s a wedding, an adoption, attempted murder, a jungle adventure...and a soap commercial. That’s Dallas for you.

I have just received season 9 . Although it's all a "dream" I am enjoying it so far. Linda Gray's performance as a rock bottom alcoholic is heart wrenching. But I miss Bobby! I can't wait until season 10 so we can get him back! I watched season 9 on Soap Net a couple of years ago and other than the Sue Ellen story line I really didn't like this season. But by watching it again I hope that I will like it better.
