Thumbs up John O'Hurley as Family Feud Host

I have always liked Family Feud, but when I found out that John O'Hurley was going to be the host, I kind of became addicted to it! I thought he made a great host and he certainly has the voice for it! What do you all think?

I think FremantleMedia made the right choice in hiring John O'Hurley as host. He's way better than Louie Anderson and Richard Karn and he brings a lot more energy and enthusiasm without dominating the game. His addition is one reason why the current Family Feud incarnation could have a much longer run than the original Richard Dawson version.

I like him too. He brings a new energy to the show. It's kind of contagious.
I was watching Celebrity Family Feud with Al Roker, and it just wasn't the same! LOL!! I was waiting for O' Hurley's enthusiastic voice...he has such a game show voice!! LOL!!!

I agree. Al Rocker doesn't bring the same energy and excitement to Family Feud like O'Hurley can. I really enjoy watching the show since John has been the host.

No need to be sorry. I can understand your reasoning. I'm like that with some other people. Like Melissa Gilbert. I can't stand her but I loved her on "Little House on the Prairie".

I just think John O'Hurley was hilarious on Family Feud. Especially when he would say "When you hear this sound" (the buzzer during the challenge between the two family members for the grand prize, which indicates a duplicate answer), and then he would "freak". That just cracked me up!

Plus, I think he's very handsome. I wanted to be on Family Feud just so I could meet him!

I wonder how many people have gone on that show and said something to him about being on Seinfeld? I bet he gets that a lot!

So I've seen maybe 5 minutes of his version total, and that was on YouTube. lol But he seemed ok. I'd need to see more to see if I like him a lot. But I can tell you this- just standing there waiting for an answer...he was 1000000000% better than Louie. And he didn't seem to make any inane comments like Karn used to.

I'm not a fan of O'Hurley at all...I liked him hosting "To Tell the Truth" a couple of years ago, but I'm not a fan of anything else he's done. I rarely watched Louie's episodes, but I liked Karn a lot.
