Did any on here buy the Best of Tony Orlando and Dawn DVD? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I saw that one of the features is Tony Orlando appearing on the Tonight Show while Freddie was the Guest Host. I don't think it's a review of the DVD on this board and was wondering if anyone on here bought the DVD and what are your thoughts on it?

Yes i have that dvd..it is one of the special features on the dvd set..freddie was guest hosting the tonight show..in Jan 1976 i was dissapointed that the dvd did not include the monologue that freddie did it was just the portion where tony orlando is introduced by freddie and they chat a while about different things, like they are both from new york, the ages they were when they began in the business..and tony surprises freddie by singing a song that freddie wrote for his wife...Kathy that was never recoreded..the three dvd set is really good freddie is on discs 2 and 3 there are skits and he sings a little etc..overall a real joy to watch..

Besides Freddie Prinze, can you tell me what other celebrities are featured on the DVD?

i think i would enjoy hearing it more if freddie got to sing his own song.

I have TOAD eps with Jackie Gleason and Adrienne Barbeau. So far the Tonight Show is the only highlight
