Default I noticed that the guy who played the father was the only one in the opening credits

who didn't LOOK INTO THE CAMERA, lol. I wonder was that a mistake on his part and they just decided to go ahead with those opening credits. He clearly looks at another camera while all the other cast members look directly into the camera,
EVEN RICHIE-lol

yeah in like toward 4 season premier it shows carl walking in the front door throws his hat on hat rack and looking in the camera

season after that before the song ended on the opening credits all together it shows carl adjusting his hat on the front steps showing his promotion and looks right in the camera

hope that helps

Well in season one, Eddie didn't look into the camera. Richie didn't either. But their's got updated in season two so Carl's stayed the old way. Here watch:

I don't know. They didn't update Harriet's either. Judy's changed after the pilot, and Estelle's was updated after What a Wonderful World was not the theme song anymore.
