Default My mom feels that if a person is making a LOW SALARY or MINIMUM WAGE, that person

Doesn't have to give you good customer service-LOL

HUH??? So they don't have to be GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO because they are not making $80,000 a year?? If that's not the DUMBEST THING I ever heard in my life

My mom an excuse when I tell her a Comcast Customer Service Rep can't help me with a problem

When a Sandwich maker at Subway doesnt grett you with a SMILE or GIVE YOU EYE CONTACT

When a Cashier at a Pharmacy is UNPLEASANT and NASTY

I don't give a SH*T if they are making $3.00 an hour they are paid to do a JOB and I shouldn't have to get CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE

Anyone experiecing SH*TTY CUSTOMER SERVICE in your local area????

So the question you really want answered is ANYONE ELSE EVER EXPERIENCE CRAPPY CUSTOMER SERVICE?

Yes, many times.

But what a person makes has no bearing on whether they are nice or not. One can make a whole lot of money and still be a jackass. Look at any high profile person with bucks.

Well i have to agree with you King. If a Company is paying you to do a job, being nice to the customers is part of it, no matter kind of salary you make.

The other night I was o the phone with a Comcast customer service person and I was telling my mom how the lady didn't know the answer to my question and was trying to hurry and schedule a techinician to come out and i kept her a$$ on that phone for 30 min-lol The Worst thing you can do as a customer service rep is RUSH someone off the phone

I agree, she is suppose to be there to help you with your problem, not rush you off. If she coudn't help you, she should of connected you to a Technician right then and there, who could try an help you over the phone. If they send a Technician to your home, they charge you a service charge. My girlfriend found that out this past Thursday. They charged her over a hundred dollars and still didn't fix her problem. Comcrap sucks!

No offense to your Mom, but I think she's wrong. Are you sure she wasn't kidding when she told you that?

Nope, she expects crappy customer service if the person is in a low paying job. Especially if they are over 25

I make low salary and I try my best to make sure that they feel welcomed...but some places are lame like I went to get some underwear because I needed some extra boxer-briefs, but they didn't have the kind I wanted! Walgreen's gave me a hard time, and now I won't shop there again!

The next time I go underwear shopping, I'm getting briefs! (That's okay, I don't want children anyhow!)

You know what? She might be on the right track though. When I get crappy service it pisses me off. If I EXPECTED crappy service I wouldn't be mad, so look at all the frustration she saves herself.

Well when I call Comcast I want the person to go outside the BOX to find a answer to my question since I send The company more every first of the month

That's true. Comcast customer service is definitely a YMMV. One time I waited for an appointment and they didn't show up so they gave me Starz for free for 6 months. Othertimes they don't seem to give a rats a$$.
