i noticed that kathy was wearing a ring on her wedding finger in the pictures of the event. Does anyone think that the ring is the wedding ring that freddie gave her?

she never remarried, freddie jr said it once in an interview. But i wonder if she ever dated after freddie died. and ive read that she was a prostitute which i seriously doubt. i would like to see a HQ pic to see the ring closer.

was kathy married twice or three times? in the midnight globe story on a freddie site its to hard to read but i know they mention her being a divorcee. hard to read but i think it said she was married twice once at 16.

I coulda sworn on the E! True Hollywood Story she had another last name after (or instead of) Prinze, and I think I read elsewhere she had married again after Freddie and Jr. talks about a stepfather....

My memory is kinda fuzzy, but I thought I saw Freddie Jr on an interview after the walk of fame ceremony and I thought he said his mom never remarried, but I can't be positive.

i know for a fact she never remarried, i think after fred died she just focused on raising jr, and she had to move back into her parents house in new mexico. i know her name was katherine cochran barber. i think Cochran is her maiden name and Barber was the first guy she married. im just guessing cuz when people refer to her they just say kathy cochran. but i know she still goes by the name kathy prinze, she never changed it.

i just ordered the E! true hollywood story, i saw it once but my memory on it is also fuzzy. at the walk of fame ceremony fred jr said that his mom has "tirelessly loved him." i remember seeing a picture of her crying and wiping her tears with a tisssue, but i cant find that picture anywhere.

I don't know about that "tirelessly loved him" statement..i am reading tony orlandos memoirs and there are passages about freddie and tony being good friends for a long time..freddie even comes to tony's home one day angry and depressed and states he doesn't think Kathy ever loved him at all..

jr said "tirelessly loved him" on the acess hollywood clip on the remembering freddie site. i dont think she loved him when she was with him. she just married him cuz he was a celebrity with money. but im sure she wishes that she had told him she loved so her son would still have a father today.

mainly she probably married freddie for security, cuz she had already been divorced. i think she loved him, but never really told freddie when he was alive. i mean hes the father of her only child. After freddie she never remarried. She raised fred jr all by herself. She didnt look for another guy to marry after freddie. Partly because she had bad luck with the guys she married. Freddie shot himself on Kathy's birthday, so im sure thats not a happy day for her to be blowing out candles on that day. Freddie shot himself Jan 28, died Jan 29. And fred Jr's wife sarah michelle Gellar looks just like Kathy. Like father like son.

jr said his mother was married to guy for like a minute before his dad. i think the guys name was qiuk. but she never remarried after freddie
