Default Eb and Hank Kimball cameo in horror movie

Back in the late 80's there was a low budget horror flick called Intruder(aka Night Crew: The Final Checkout)... Tom Lester(Eb), and Alvy Moore(Hank Kimbell) pop up for a very brief moment as police officers, and Alvy Moore plays his Kimbell role(but as a police man). Tom Lester even tips up his cap the way he did his hat on Green Acres.

Did you see the movie ? I see it for sale on ebay & amazon. I wonder if it's worth getting it to see Alvy & Tom Lester....I don't get into slasher films.

Yes, I own it on DVD. Well, if you're not a slasher fan you most likely wouldn't like it...Maybe you can find it for rent? I'm a fan of 80's slashers, and the main reason I rented it back in the 80's was because at that time I was tracking down anything and everything tied to Sam Raimi and the gang. The film has Sam Raimi, Ted Raimi, cameo by Bruce Campbell, and written/directed by Scott Spiegel(co-writer of Evil Dead 2).

Thanks! It's 12.99 new dvd at Amazon, and I just got my $25 Amazon certificate from the credit card points program, so I'm going to order it along with something else. The idea of Mr Kimball in a slasher movie is just too hard to pass up. Well, not hard, a little difficult. Not really difficult, more like - what was the question ?

that's how he plays it in the movie.

And if you're a fan of Raising Arizona- the story that one of the managers tells to his coworkers in Intruder is the same exact story M. Emmet Walsh tells Nicholas Cage in RA.

That does sound interesting. It's so hard to picture them in that type of movie.

Decided to resurrect this thread to post a screenshot of Tom Lester and Alvy Moore in Intruder:

Alvy Moore was no stranger to horror, he starred in The Witchmaker (1969, which also featured Burt Mustin. Alvy also produced.
Alvy produced and appeared in 1971's The Brotherhood Of Satan.
Intruder wasn't the only 80s horror film Alvy appeared in, he was in Scream (1981), They're Playing With Fire (1984), and The Horror Show (1989)

No prob.

Oh, should add, since I first posted this thread Intruder was released on Blu Ray, in all it's uncut glory (gore fully intact), the previous releases were the cut version.

There was an episode of Love American Style titled "Love and the Competitors." In the episode Tom Lester and Pat Buttram played policemen. Buttram played Chief Ormie and Lester played officer Fleetus. It was about 3 years after GA ended production.
