Default How did you find out about Step By Step in the first place?

This board has not had much going on, especially with littlebelle on her Hawaiian vacation.

So, to inject some life into this board, I ask you this:

How did you first find out about SBS?

I don't know. One day I was watching Full House on ABC Family, and then Family Matters came on (a show I hadn't seen in years) then Step By Step came on, and I just watched!

I first watched back in the 90s, like ten years ago now. It was on this Norvegian channel, TV Norge, that we had at the time. And later on, it also was on a Swedish channel, Kanal 5.

Oh man I'm so jealous you have kanal 5! A couple months ago there was a interview with Shannen Doherty on that channel that I totally missed!

I used to watch all the TGIF shows back in the late 80s-mid 90s. SBS actually debuted on my 12th bday (September 20, 1991), and I recall sitting in the living room with my folks and siblings eating pizza and watching the shows!!

Same here, since I were regular TGIF watchers, and this new show (SBS) was added to the lineup. I saw it once, and was hooked.

I first watched it because, well my cousin and sister really liked it and I never wanted to give it a chance, but then one day it came on ABC Family in the afternoon at 12:30 and nothing else was on because rarely good sitcoms are on Saturday afternoons so we watched it and now it is one of my favorite shows. I watched it when I was in the States this summer at 9am weekdays

I must have found it while watching "Full House" on TGIF. That was a great lineup!

I watched the first episode when it premiered during the fall of 1991. I was 15 years old (like Dana) and and high school freshman (like Karen). I thought both Karen and Dana were both really hot. Also, the season before I has watched a TGIF show called Going Places (it was on after Perfect Strangers but only lasted a season. Staci Keanan was on that series and she was also on the show My Two Dads that I watched. I pretty much tried the show out because of her. I watched Step By Step on a weekly basis only during the first season. It's only been recently through reruns that I've started to watch the it again.
