If I had known about this earlier, I would have given more notice.

So, does everyone think that Michael Goodwin actually was guilty of these murders. I certainly do, but was wondering what everyone else thought.

I'm not convinced Goodwin is guilty. I'm not convinced of his innocence either though - the 48 hrs show made him look more innocent though than guilty in my opinion.

Hmm, yes, I dont know what to think of this guy. I will say one thing though, the case against him was weak. He had a motive to kill the Thompson's sure. But was he the only one that did? Also, what ever became of those two black guys riding away from the home on bicycles? Two black men, fleeing the scene on bicycles and they got away? Unbelievable. If this guy was the one that organized it, wouldnt he have ratted the black guys out to get a lighter sentence? Unless of course he didnt want to rat them out so then he could say he was innocent and being framed. The evidence is so circumstancial and there is nothing really solid here so it is hard to tell either way.

The prosecutors care more about the guy who ordered the murders than the people who actually pulled the trigger. I've seen enough Law & Orders to know that!

Right. The mastermind is the one responsible for the murder. Although it would be nice if they took down the two gunmen too.
Of course the mastermind wouldn't confess to it. That would prove that he's guilty and giving up the gunmen isn't going to help him since he planned the crime. |
