Cool Changes From Season To Season

Post the minor and significant character/plot, anything different from one season to the next in TFP...I'll start with some of the changes from the 1st to 2nd season..

-Uncle Phil's Appearence/Beard- Early on in the show's beginning, Uncle Phil had a mustache and not much of a beard, and his beard became way more noticeable towards the end of S1/into S2

-The Kitchen/House Shots- In the first season, most shots I believe were shot in the dining room/sitting room and the kitchen was positioned different compared to other seasons

Obviously the departure of Janet Hubert Whitten and the arrival of Daphne Maxwell Reid as the role of "Vivian Banks." mother to Hilary, Carlton and Ashley Banks. From the 2nd to the 3rd Will's paternal grandfather was written out of the show for some reason. Also, didn't the actress who played Mrs. Furth, Henry's wife, die after the 1st or in between the 1st and the 2nd or was she in an episode in the 2nd season also?

Post other changes...

After the fourth season, Nicky is suddenly on the scene

And also after the fourth season, Ashley, how shall I put this, has blossomed into a beautiful young woman, and she gets a more important role.
There's a double episode surrounding her singing when she has the hit record and another double episode about her modeling

That wasn't Will's grandfather. It was uncle Phil's father.

It was still Will's grandfather. Uncle Phil's mother is Will's grandmother so why isn't his father Will's grandfather? I know Will came from Vivian's side of the family, but you still have 4 grandparents. Anyways...

Will called them "Grandma" and "Grandpa", but no, it wasn't his grandparents.

Calling somebody grandma and grandpa is basically the same thing as calling them grandmom and grandpop. Then who were they then, Will's aunt and uncle? They were his grandparents.

And yeah Lisa disappearing was hilarious lol. I guess being her and Will were half brother and sister, it got alittle weird. I didn't like her as much as other fans did, she wasn't bad, just not my fav. I guess.

i was wondering about that too. the writers just wrote her out without any explanation or reason for her absence in the last remaining episodes of the last season. very strange indeed

Maybe the actress, Nia Long, suddenly wanted to quit or couldn't get along with the rest of the cast? I guess they thought we would forget about her. But fat chance of that happening, especially when the show went into something called syndication.

It would've at least been cool to have mentioned it as an after thought in the final season, or to see Will and Lisa trying to work at a platonic relationship after being half brother and sister lol. I don't think they mentioned Will's mother at all in the last season.
It was like Lisa never existed, but the show did invest a lot of time in her relationship with Will, so I thought it would've been fair to at least have some closure. I wasn't a big Lisa fan either to tell you the truth. I liked Will best single lol.

I think the appearence of small characters was shown more in the first 2 seasons, especially in the first compared to mostly the primary cast being around in the final seasons. For example, in the Thanksgiving episode, they show the gardener and the mother gives him the day/weekend off for Thanksgiving. Will had a lot more little flings with girls then in later seasons (with Jackie and Lisa being around). One specific small fling was Kayla, you only saw her in the one episode. Another example was that you saw more of the Furths as a small character in the first 2 seasons, obviously with the wife's death, she wasn't around after the 2nd, but you didn't see much of Henry later on either.

The only minute characters I can remember off the top from the last 2 seasons was the shooter who shot Will in Bullets over Bel-Air, Geoffrey's son from England and any cameos from famous people (William Shatner in Eye Tooth).

I didn't know about Mrs. Furth. She passed after the second season?

Yup, nobody can find out why though. It is not reported on Wikipedia nor IMDB I believe.
