UM Cases With Abducted/Missing Children - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Here's some I know of:

Nyleen Kay Marshall- The girl that dissapeared from a state park in Montana in 1983.
Michaela Garecht- Girl that was abducted in California when she and her friend were at a supermarket.
Tara Calico- I can't remember what state she dissapeared from, she was abducted while riding her bike. That photograph that lady found in Florida was CREEPY!
Jeremy Bright- Dissapeared from a carnival.
Laura- Forgot her last name, but she was the 13 year old girl who made friends with the guy who worked at the pet shop and later abducted/killed her.
Other Sad Cases Not Featured On UM:

Steve Staynor- The guy who said he was a priest abducted Steve for several years and forced him into having sex with him. I watched the movie on LifeTime once. What a sad ending to the movie and this poor guy's life. He did not deserve to die in that accident. I cried at the end of the movie.
Adam Walsh- Son of John Walsh. He was abducted from the Hollywood, FL mall. They later discovered he was murdered. It is reported that after this happened, the mall died down drastically.

The people that harmed these children, I hope there is a special place in hell for them and that they get tormented eternally.

If anybody else remembers missing/abducted children cases from UM, please post. Thank you!

For some reason, when I was younger, the abducted/missing children stories were the scariest by far...

Tara Calico disappeared on September 20, 1988 from New Mexico.

Laura Burbank was the victim you are thinking if. Her killer, David Harry Fisher, was on the run when the case originally aired in the eighties.

Other ones I can think of:

Marlena Childress
Leticia Hernandez - found dead, UM profiled before she was found.
Marlena Santana
Clifford Sherwood

If we're including murders...

Gary Grant Jr.
"Punky" Gustavson

There are others, this should be a good starting point though.

Was Jacob Wetterling ever featured on UM?

How about that lady who was murdered and her baby stolen? His dad was a famous rapper. Took them six years to find the kid! How freaky was that?

Let's also not forget the Baskin children,kidnapped by their maternal grandparents over 20 years ago.

Also, the man whos son was kidnapped by his ex wife and later he found out that the boy had died the year previous of Leukemia.

No, Jacob's story was never featured on UM. I've been on the Jacob Wetterling Foundation website and read about his abduction. That poor boy.

The reason I read why they never featured Jacob's kidnapping on UM was because they said there wasn't enough information or something like that. I am confused what they meant. In my opinion there is more information than some of the other stories they have featured.

What about those 2 girls that went missing after a birthday party? I can't think of their names right now.

One girl stayed at the birthday girls house overnight. That evening they celebrated a birthday. Then they all went to bed and I believe there was a house fire. When the authorities were going through the rubble, all the remains of the family were found except for the birthday girl and her friend that had slept over.

That was such an odd case. I wonder what happened to those 2 girls.

Can anyone think of their names? I want to say Laurie Freeman or something like that.

I think the girls you are speaking of are Ashley Freeman and Lauria Bible.
