I think that the late Jerry Goldsmith was the greatest film composer of all time. I know that many people will agree with me. What are your five favorite Goldsmith scores?

Mine:

1. Star Trek-The Motion Picture
2. Star Trek-Insurrection
3. Alien
4. The Sand Pebbles
5. The Omen

His score of the 1965 movie A Patch of Blue is some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard. It is so haunting - I love it!!

I just had to post my fave composer. Not to say Jerry is not a great one. Jerry and John are thee top composers ever.

You speak the truth Irene! But, out of Jerry Goldsmith's hits I like Star Trek the motion picture.

He is definitely my favorite composer of all time.

My top 5 favorites in no particular order: Rudy, Hoosiers, Gremlins, Poltergeist and The Secret of NIMH.

John Williams I would have to say is my second favorite. So many blockbusters for him.
