Missing season two episode - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In season two, was there or was there not, an episode where a lesbian had a crush on Rose? I remember seeing it on TV and in a flashback episode on the DVDs, but I did not see this episode itself on the DVDs?

Plus, the first DVD of the second season has eight episodes, whereas the last two have nine each, meaning one episode was excluded.

The episode you refer to is titled "Isn't It Romantic?" It was the fifth episode of the second season.

Lois Nettleton played Dorothy's college friend Jean (who is a lesbian and starts to fall in love with Rose).

It is included in the DVD season two set. The season two set is complete...it includes all 26 episodes from that year.
