I think I may have made this thread a few years ago, but I'm not certain. In this thread, tell us a little bit about some of the events you know took place during the year you were born.
1976 1. The 200th Anniversary of the United States. 2. Jimmy Carter is elected president. 3. Hit songs included "If You Leave Me Now" by Chicago, "You Should Be Dancing" by the Bee Gees, "Silly Love Songs" by Paul McCartney and Wings, "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" by Elton John and Kiki Dee, "Fool To Cry" by the Rolling Stones. 4. Movies in 1976 included All The President's Men, Taxi Driver, The Omen, Carrie, Rocky and Network |
