Hi, everyone.
![]() I just want to say that as a fan, I was always kind of sorry to see the "Mr. Bradley" character go. I mean, I understand why NBC did what they did, but I for one kind of wish that they could have at least kept Mr. Bradley on, even if they had to let the other girls go. Of all the headmasters (Mr. Crocker from the Facts pilot episode of "Diff'rent Strokes," Mr. Bradley from season 1, Mr. Harris from season 2, and Mr. Parker from seasons 3-5) Mr. Bradley is my favorite. I never understood why NBC ditched John Lawlor and got a new headmaster. Even though the show would be focusing on Mrs. Garrett and four girls instead of seven girls, they still could've kept Mr. Bradley, or at least I've always thought so. |

I like Bradley too. His relationship with Mrs. Garrett was always funny.

Yea, me too. John Lawlor was great in the role. Shoot, Kenneth Mars lasted one episode as Mr. Harris, so one wonders why the producers (not NBC) got rid of Mr. Bradley. Even the other girls managed to hang around (in reduced supporting roles) for the next two seasons.

There's this Facts story I'm working on and I did this whole section devoted to telling the story of Mr. Bradley and what happened to him between seasons 1 and 2. It does make you wonder though. There are many versions of this one Facts story I've been struggling with for a long time, and I don't know if I'll go with the one that does the Mr. Bradley expose or not. But whether or not that ever gets posted, I think it would be a good question for the Facts fanfic authors to answer: "Whatever happened to Mr. Bradley?"

Perhaps he went to the same place Miss Mahoney did?

Maybe he was secretly in love and wanted to disappear with her. Either that or they were abducted by aliens.
