Can you remember the name of this series? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm trying to recall the title of a tv show set in the remote northwest. Characters had to arrive and leave via sea plane. The plot revolved around a preacher trying to refurbish/reopen a church. Most of the storylines unfolded around the local pub/restaurant where everyone gathered.

Any ideas?

Unfortunately I'm not even sure which decade it was on. I think it was just the one season ..I'm guessing it was in the 70's.

I forgot to mention in the original message that I am not referring to either Northern Exposure or the current Men In Trees, though the story line had some things in common with both of them.

Except for the sea plane, it sounds like Here Come the Brides; I can't think of the show you're talking about. Good luck.
